I’m thinking about building a shed… or that old window greenhouse… tents are fun and it’s like playing Tetris but I need some space cuz sativa ladies like to reach for the stars… cola buds that are two feet long! And I’m starting to get nervous!

I think 420’s patch makes me pretty sure the Gavita 1700e is the LED I’m interested in, i think if I was buying a tent I’d go for a 5x5 as my first.
I’m with Lizard on using HID’s you guys losing $600-$1300 lights every few year makes me nervous I can rock a new HID for $200-350 and be confident that it will produce stank for years to come with only a need for a $50-100 bulb every few crops. I have used older bulbs and like the discussion on gnats the old bulbs will start to lose production, but done right HIDs will put up some decent weight.
Girls getting closer, AKA you had split seeds bit back was it you mentioning seeds being easier to get out of dryer flower? Was thinking if they’re still little fresh I could somehow “squeeze” them and pop the seams like in the pic. Few more weeks I’m thinking. Then the fun will begin.

Yeah those all look great.
I forgot to mention about the cracked seeds. Since I pollinated real early most of the seeds were deep in the bud. I used tweezers to grab them without destroying the buds and I’m pretty sure I must’ve put too much pressure on the handful that cracked. Initially I thought it may have been from drying quickly but I went and pulled out the lcxcn and double chocolate seeds from before that dried the same way and they were all fine.

Hobbit I might not go so far to say in check, pretty sure their not all dead but it won’t ruin me at this point.
Enjoil that is a patch packed FULL of seeds, nothing but. it’s high grade dirt at this point not worth smoking, I’ll make big chunk of hash pulling beans I think. I’d liked to try some bubble bags but the chiller for my reservoir is higher on my wish list. I think I got the job done, it’s is a little much on the seeds and silly maybe to seed my first hydro table but I figured if I could make viable seeds it would be a proof of the tables success, and I don’t need any more flower, and I seeded it all because I’m not smoking seeded weed just not my thing, even if it’s fresh dirt. Why it make you nervous? I do that a lot it seems. The dad is a kush plant of presidential lineage (taking politics out of my weed/strains, had enough), She/he is the bottom picture above looking bit nappy at this point. The plant it’s small, trim heavy, fast flowering but has really unique stank and flavor that I really enjoy. Looking to bring the fast flower time, taste/smell, purpling if it comes through, and some of the structure but looking for a bit more vigor. Guess I will see what comes out. Debating if I should have chosen the Purple Punch but figured it’s being used in several strain/lineage locally and wanted to go in different direction.
It’s going to be a few beans

This is him/her outside looking happier and unseeded

Welp, I feel completely out of my league, but I guess you gotta start somewhere. Was finally legalized in my state last year, and I'm just now getting seeds started. Had 2, but my toddler found them in a windowsill and dumped one

You will have beans for the rest of your life! And your kid’s kids life..
Im not talking trash bro…. We need to build each other up and help each other…
I will smoke a seeded bud… one time I got a zip of some Mexican brick weed and it was super super seedy. You would grab a big bid that weighs 4g’s and 100 beans would pop out when you broke it up and you would end up with 1/2 a gram of herb. That weed was killer! It was like hash. It was all golden and old and smashed but It was soooo good.
I wanna see the babies of that purple punch X something kush!

I have to agree, I've had some good seedy bud, it's only dirt weed if it's cured shitty, moldy, compacted and stored in a cartel warehouse for a couple Years.

@T.C.O. it could be that section of plants root zone is dry and it is cupping like that to preserve moisture. I really don't know, but I have seen that with some of mine, only to realize the dry spot in the soil when I pulled the plant at harvest.
That could be it too. The low RH is another possibility. I've had a few strains that did the same in low RH.

So I was reading up on the white99 that I supposedly have, but now I don't know if that's what it really is, because the article in "WAY of Leaf" is saying that White99 is a clone only strain, but mine is from seed in dispensary bud labeled as White99. What do y'all think, should I call White99 or not?

Glad to help! Yeah, I've been using biochar for a few years now. Big fan. Ended up with a nice supply when someone caught my property on fire. Never trust cheap help.

Doc, whatever it is, it's probably W99 crossed with some strain that had little influence in the total makeup of the plant, since that's often what they try to do when creating a seed form of a clone only strain.
I mean, think about it, it's only a clone only strain until some fucker decides he's gonna either self it or mate it with a male to create progeny as close to the coveted clone only strain as possible as to cash in on what was previously a clone only strain, because let's face it, seeds are a shitload easier to create by the bunch and store indefinitely, so realistically there is more money to be had from seeding plants than from producing cuttings.

Your seed is likely the result of intersexing.
It's probably safe to assume it's White99. Some farms.. especially several years ago, were "brand naming" existing strains but I never saw anyone using the name of an existing strain. It was mostly marketing tactics. We had a farm here Cascade Crops that did this frequently. Pissed me off.
Clone only strains can come about via a few routes so it's a bit of a vague description. Makes breeders sound real cool though.

There's a USA breeder that does this.. or at least there was. Can't think of the name atm.

I found Purple Punch to be a bit over rated.. and I'm not the only one. Most of our circle blew through it fast with a "meh" review lol. But it's still an interesting strain. Especially taking that non-political kush to it. We may have to talk trade when those are ready.

Here's our local non-political kush (there's two). Friends pic. This is the one that Jim at Fancyweed is/was using. It's a back cross of the back in the day cut we had around here for a few years. CSI was the source.

I saw this idiot on tv say that strain names mean nothing… and then he goes on to say that there’s 5 dumbass categories…
I took a pic.
What an idiot… lol. I laughed so hard when Two Chains finger fucked a nugget and threw it back in the bag and shook it up! Dude was talking about his weed was “virgin marijuana” and it has never been touched by a human hand. Ha ha ha ha….
