Nope, I did some pollen chucking and had fun with it.
If I was breeding I would be growing out a minimum 50 plants at a time(1000 if I could wing it), taking a clone of each, flowering them, and selecting for the ones with traits I like. Need numbers to understand what genetics are being offered. I would then cross that with another plant that has a trait I want. There begins the chase of backcrossing and taking it out a few generations to find out which traits are dominate and which a recessive, and if I can get the traits I want to stabilize and match up. By the time it's worked down to two phenotypes it's pretty damn good.
There's nothing wrong with popping seeds and crossing a few plants to see what happens, but true breeding takes time, numbers, space, and thorough records. I've been a tester for a few breeders and believe me they have networks of people growing things out for them to see the results, absolutely thousands of plants.
That said I am absolutely going to be chucking some auto pollen at some B4 plants if I get the phenotype I want from B4. Gonna make me a bastard auto
I'm not knocking what anyone else is doing, I'm acknowledging the immense amount of effort that goes into breeding cannabis for people who dedicate their lives to it.

Then if you back cross it to one of the original parents it's a BX1, do it a second time and BX2

Oh fuck no, why would I take a perfectly good hobby and make it a job?

I've seen what it can do to people and no thanks.

Technically it's one seed begging strike and you're out.
This thread is just a rolling violation of the first four ethnobotanical garden forum rules.

It is currently illegal under federal law to ship seeds for marijuana, period. They very clearly state this.
A google search will bring you results that say it's legal, but all of those results are from people selling seeds. Of course they'll say it's legal, otherwise they would be chasing off business. They are lying. It's not that the government isn't coming down on people. it's that the dam has burst and there is only so much they can go after. As long as someone is paying off the IRS, they put them at the bottom of the list. Consider it protection money. Fail to pay the egregious taxes on your illicit profits and the DEA eye of Sauron will suddenly be upon you.
It's all about money and it always has been. Democrats and Republicans have been playing a fake game by introducing and shutting down each other's "attempts" at federal legalization. Most recently the Republicans shut down a Democrat bid to legalize, then introduced their own legislation a few short months later. Rights they never had the authority to take away being held hostage so they can point fingers at each other like they aren't cooperating to steal everything from anyone in the working class regardless of party.
Fuck em both, keep growing.
Just don't trade seeds in open forum, K?

Graybeard has an extremely bad reputation in the cannabis world. Not only rips off genetics, rips off customers. Anyone who complains is usually treated like absolute shit.
I'd be extremely careful about doing business with him.

My landrace indica is like ten weeks old, had alternating nodes for a while, but no signs of sex.
I wasn’t taking the best care of it until recently so it’s small but still seems weird.
Yup, have had them take forever. The fact it's small and struggling probably has a lot to do with it.

When doing seed runs I have let plants mature for waaaaay longer than I would if I were growing for bud. I've never regretted it, makes for very viable seed.
I've noticed plants showing sex has a lot more to do with where they are in their growth and genetics than it does actual physical age. I've had plants take an excruciatingly long time to show based on them not being uppotted in time due to space issues. Sorry little plants!

Late thirties for me and living along those lines. I just moved back to the city from the cascades and nope. Just nope.
I'm working on getting back up in the hills soon.

I've grown some insanely good weed from hermie seeds before. I've also ruined entire grows with hermi seed plants that surprise pollinate the whole tent.
It's definitely a roll of the dice.

Reminds me to refocus on my goal of building a tiny home and moving forest to forest.
I used to teach bushcraft and homesteading for an outdoor company! Getting a coal with a hand drill is no easy task, you should be really proud of that! Most people can't do it, I haven't in a very very long time. It's really fun to be at a camp and seeing kids fix their own rodent problems with figure four traps that they carved the trigger set themselves. Camp really lets you know which kids are clever survivors and which ones we would be eating in the event of an island stranding

It's definitely a roll of the dice.
So that's the thing, I did my first grow earlier in the year, and now dont have anything going on. I'm thinking of letting them veg out, see their growth, and then either plant them outside, or gift them.
If you live in an area with other people I'd be careful about planting those outside, it could pollinate someone else's plants and ruin their grow. If you gift them be sure to explain it came from hermi seed
Is it only in flowering that i'll know if a plant went hermie? I've had a few turn up hermi in their pre flowers, but most show during flower. Soon as I see it they get the axe.
It could still yield female only plants right? Kind of, even if it's expressing female the hermi genetics are lurking and could pop out at any time.
Also, would pollinating a female plant with hermie seeds yield only feminized seeds? I would like to mix strains at some point, but i guess mixing with hermies is asking for hermie bloodlines Nope. Hermi pollen leads to males, females, and hermis... but they all carry hermi genetics. Once the hermi is in there, it's in there and it's almost impossible to breed out.

What's your PH at and what size container are they in?
Might be really root bound and/or be off on PH.
