Sweet Seeds - Red Poison Auto Flower day 67.
One last good soak and chopping tonight. Maybe tomorrow. Ran this one under the veg light. Not enough umff for flowering. Compared to the ISL these buds are larf. Far more spindley than the last time I ran some. It's capable of putting out nice chunks under good lighting though. Same live soil. Water only. Chemy Cinnamon Red Hots aroma just like last time.
Live soil advice if you can?
#1 Patience. There will be some trial and error, and useable live doesn't happen fast. #2 LBS (Lacto Bacillus Serum) is your best friend. #3 Learn basic fermentation.
There's a lot of variations of 'live'. You'll have to find one that fits you and what you have available. Took me several attempts to hit a groove. Think short and long term release of the desired nutrients. My ingredients tend to vary with the season and what is growing at the time. Right now Dandelion ferments provide N and several other goodies short term. My long term N source is chicken guano and/or worm castings. You'll want a few good sources of Tria as well. I get a pretty good ferment from Black Huckleberry tips which are prime right now. For a long term source Alfalfa top dress, ferment or tea. A good base is always important too. I like to grow in Sunshine #4 Professional the first time and recycle it once for another run. By that time it's pretty much ready to become a base. I like it because it's cheaper than peat and it's fluffy even once it becomes live. About the only thing I buy for the mix is Cannazym to break down the roots. Other than that all of my ingredients are locally harvested. Just stocked on Kelp while clam digging the other day so gathering can be fun.

Here is my dad's outdoor patch. I just trimmed up underneath them (after the pic). The ones named are the clones I gave him. The other 3 (I think 3) are from seeds I gave him. Zkittlez is one. Idk the others. There are fem seeds and the plants already show signs of being females. The strawberry banana somango is already starting to flower.

Height was becoming a concern, so I deployed the net. It has been 8 days since I flipped to a 12:12 cycle. How much defoliation can I get away with at this point?

Somango 30 days in. It’s behind the others but it’s starting to get the typical sativa celery/carrot type smells.

I am shutting my 2- 4x4x7s down until July 13th (my annual inspection) I will be starting over with seeds. I wish I had some clones going but I can't. I could clone my dad's plants, but I think it be funner to run seeds. I usually veg in one and flower in the other. My clones go in a cloner in a separate area. Everything is empty and ready to clean (besides drying plants in one tent) I'm excited to get it started again. I'm going to run the Tatooine donut & Apple Cider kush only. Well maybe a northern lights auto or x2.

Big hairy somango buds

Tiny sherbreath buds looking like they’re gonna be a real quick finisher.

Here is my all auto garden plot. Some of them are over 4ft and will probably stretch some more. I think that i over did it with number of plants. Didn't really know what to expect from autoflower and the ones I did early season in pots are much smaller. I do the same thing with tomato plants every year. Think i should have been pruning some too, but I just get nervous about it so letting them go naturally. A few got topped by birds or something and seem to have recovered fine.
I clearly am doing something wrong with the potted plants with how dinky they are in comparison. I will research and get expensive soil next year.

Beautiful plant
Random picture but I love the purple/orange/green contrast. I think it was called velvet pie or something.

PBB going purple. I’m hoping it’s normal and not related to a deficiency

Others are bulking up quick

Here’s the funk! Bodega bubblegum x Jacks lavender frosting. I started flushing her, probably give her a week or so then chop chop.

I took a sample and it was delicious even though it wasn’t flushed yet or all the way dry when I smoked it…

Thanks for the reply! I am just going to let them go naturally.
I have a lot of buds forming on the big plants. One grew about 2-3" in about 24 hr. Fingers crossed they make it to harvest. I only get direct sun until about 3pm when a tree shades it, I was worried it was going to be an issue. Getting that tree trimmed before next season.
Critical kush from Barney and random Mephisto mystery are the really big ones with the most buds. Three bears is the flowering one a couple weeks ahead of the others.
