I've never heard of temple balls. Is that the word for pressing the hash with your fingers until it turns black and gooey?
I planted a few autoflower seeds 1 month ago. The bag said they're SS Sweet Skunk or something like that. They are under a cheap LED grow light in my crawl space that isn't even heated. I'm really surprised they're growing with these low temps.
Here is a pic of the best one. 1 month old.

I have a lot of seeds. I'll try to plan out my spring weed grow and give a list of the strains I'll be using. I have to chill out with the other stuff before I run out of room. Within the last month I've planted 100's of ornamental grass seeds, 100's of flowers, cyans, about 100 veggies, 10 fruit trees, an I ordered 12 more trees.

There is a big difference between someone open blasting butane, using any random "brand"/quality of butane (I worry about other crap impurities in butane), and having a basic vac-purge set up (if at all lol)....
...versus extracts produced in an labratory with a proper closed loop system, with lab grade butane and other solvents (sometimes butane isn't the only solvent used) that's been distilled and purified, proper vacume-purge-ovens, full on proper lab equipment, tested for residual solvents, etc etc etc.
I'm very much a "natural" sorta of person (tho I hate using that word, "natural", lol, you get what I mean tho)...I love growing organically and keeping things simple and wholesome and clean and as close to the earth as possible...I thoroughly enjoy bubble hash & rosin...and when it comes down to it I really mostly prefer high quality flower more than anything...
....but!...I gotta say, cannabis extracts have come a loooong way from "shatter" and open blasting butane (but no doubt some Joe is out there doing that at this very moment lol). There are some truly beautiful full spectrum cannabis extracts these days though, which basically contains nothing but the entire spectrum of cannabinoids, terps, and other goodness with out any plant mater, no chlorophyll, no fats/lipids/waxes, etc...Just the oily essence of the plant.
I totally hear and understand where ya'll are coming from in regards to butane extracts...and I myself prefer flower and solventless extracts, but there are some absolutely phenomenal cannabis extracts out there these days. I dabble with em' occasionally, but prefer flower most of the time...I consider these types of extracts to be like the "caviar" of cannabis, they sometiems look like caviar too lol, with the way the THCa crystalizes in the soup of terps.
It's nothing but a golden sauce, usually crystals of THCa that have precipitated in a soup of terpenes...It's the epitome of cananbis extracts, leaps & bounds beyond your typical BHO "shatter" . The aroma and flavor is un-real, creamy & rich on the tongue...Provides more of a "rich" and balanced/wholesome high too, compared to most shatter which is mostly just THC.

I always just make QWISO. It's much much cheaper than ethanol and higher alc content in my state. If there is any remnants from the ISO it is so little that I don't think it would be harmful. I only make it when I get a bad batch of weed every couple years.
Here is my biggest autoflower at around 5 weeks and just started flowering. It's getting really cold at night and they don't seem to mind much.

We have some lilac, rosemary, thyme, and lavender planted- which the deer have made new trails around to avoid (these are town deer) , which if broke to people, they don't seem to move off the urine smell very well. I plant alot of obstacles that make it tight to jump the fence onto us, and have added 30"or so of thin walled pipe with tabs cut with rebar drilled down into wood post and two grape lines spaced evenly between posts.

I've went with BF the past 2 or 3 rounds, quality is surely there.
On the choices, I don't think there's too little to choose from. I mean, check their catalog:

Over 50 strains...
Also, you get 20% off if you use the SHROOM code!

Can anyone tell me why my plants appear to be flowering early!? Summers not even over yet :/ (Australia)
The seeds were purchased from DNM listed as "CBD therapy" strain. They were sprouted under a light mid December then moved outside into a greenhouse.
January 6th (the day they were moved outside)
January 18th
February 9th
February 14th
February 21st (today)
