Some large Sativa dominant plants. (My uncle in the pic, not me)
The weather this year has been terrible in Massachusetts, so much rain I'll be lucky if they don't get mold before harvest time.

I'm digging the fall colors....I'm hoping at least one of my plants gets some colors going on as they get deeper into flowering.
Those buds look similar in structure to my South Fork Kush buds.

When I transplanted from 1 gallon plastic pots into 20 gallon fabric pots earlier this summer, yea my plants weren't really impacted by the transplant at all....
...I didn't notice their growth slowing down or a change in their vigor, and they really "took off" after just a couple days of being in their bigger pots.

Some pics from a few days ago...
South Fork Kush

Slymer

The Tangieland and Slymer both got a bit of caterpillar/worm damage...I first spotted a small dead & dry portion on one of the small lower buds on my Tangieland. I plucked out the dead portion of the bud and found a teeny tiny cat/worm buried way in there. I scoped out the rest of the plant and didn't see any other spots....Then a few days later I noticed another spot on the lower portion of one of the colas, cutting out the dead portion of the bud I found there was a bit more damage than what I first saw...I ended up plucking out 4 more caterpillars from the TL and cut out a portion of the cola from where they were eating/shitting.
I also spotted two dead/dry spots right in the top/middle of my Slymer, basically right in the heart of my two most prime colas...Bastards...I cut out the dead portion of the bud, found one caterpillar in the bud on the Slymer.
Lesson learned....Next year I'll be on the BT much earlier in flowering. I ended up giving all my plants a spray with BT after I went through them and checking for caterpillas & damage...It looks like they're mostly interested in the Tangieland and Slymer, my Cherry Cookies and SFK have no signs of damage and I didn't find any on them.
Caterpillar damage on the TL

on the Slymer....

Northern Lights Auto - About 8 weeks old and getting massive. The stem is like a trunk the size of a 50 cent piece or bigger.

I'd be interested in the final weight, dried, of that plant. It's almost like a squat, little indica.
Here's a normal Northern Lights #5 I grew many, many years ago in New Zealand.

El Torcho said: Spinosad works wonders. Better than bt imo. Spray it early. It seems to colonize a plant (I know it's supposed to be dead) and protects for quite some time. I dont like the tatse of bud sprayed directly with spinosad. Even early in flowering.
I've heard that BT is more effective than spinosad when it comes to cats & worms specifically...(?)...but that switching between the two with a regimen of sorts is ideal.
I did give my plants a spray with spinosad a few times during late veg and early flower, at the time I was doing so for thrips.
Both spinosad and BT don't even really have all that much smell to me, and they break down in the sunlight within a few days....Do they really funk up the taste of herb that much even if they were sprayed weeks before harvest?

This is retarded imo, you spray toxic substance on the bud you then smoke
Do you even know what spinosad and BT are?....Neither of them are toxic. I'm pretty sure a human can take a drink of the stuff and not be harmed at all. And they both break down in sunlight, so after a few days they're not even on the plant.

Looking good....Didn't you grow another auto-flower earlier this season too?...Or was that some other photo-plant that you harvested a little while back?

They're looking good to my eyes but they seem like they're still kinda in the early stages of flowering...?....Unless it's mostly a sativa, which it doesn't look like it, I'd expect most outdoor plants to be deeper into flowering and almost ready for harvest by this time of the season....To me it looks like those still have a while to go before they're ready, 3 or 4 weeks at least.
....but I am new to growing, so . It does look they still have a ways to go though.

One of my outdoor plants has started to show its fall colors!
Also, could someone help me identify when to harvest? My expectations are around the end of October. I would love multiple opinions, though. I have no idea myself and have no experience to accurately judge from. The plants were put outside in July, started flower sometime mid August I believe(NE USA). Nothing known about it genetically, but it does have a photoperiod.
Trichomes on what I believe is a calyx but can't be 100% certain due to the microscope zoom

And on leaves

If you're in the NE US folks usually wait till after the second frost. Sometimes the second frost depending on what you have. Those look like sativa strains so I'd say second frost. Put them right in the ground next year. Dig a 3ft wide hole and mix in grow soil with natural soil.

I started picking a couple fan leaves off this Northern Lights Autoflower. It was soothing so I kept going and picked almost all of them off. Probably shouldn't have, but oh well. I think the plant still has about a week to go. Here she is without her fan leaves.

Maine's Own Blueberry S2 by the now defunct Highrise Seed Company.
They spritzed a MOB cut and back crossed it resulting in these purple lovelies coming out of the background.
