Thanks man.
It's an unknown strain that a couple of my uncles and family friends have been growing around my area for a couple decades. I've been working with it for about 8+ years. Always throws out a few suprizing phenotypes. Always some shade of purple, and usually very fruity scent and flavors. The strain will forever remind me of Christmas with my family, as there was always plenty around for the holidays. The smell of it burning and the flavor bring me back to to some great times with some family members that are no longer with us.
Edit: there are a few pics of last years plants of this strain in my gallery. Sometimes the purple is so intense that it look like there is something wrong from a distance.

Some large Sativa dominant plants. (My uncle in the pic, not me)
The weather this year has been terrible in Massachusetts, so much rain I'll be lucky if they don't get mold before harvest time.

Doesn’t look as big in pictures but I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up being a quarter dry.

All of them are maturing a lot quicker this time, it’s at 6.5 weeks. I guess the N overload really slowed things down before.
im happy to see this. i cant wait till my fatten more. i like her so far. the node spacing is nice and they stack up nice. alot of branching. frosty.
nice plants Pluviophile. how much longer do you think they have?
Barring any really terrible weather,I’m thinking at least 2-3 weeks left on most of my plants. Some of the more sativa dominate strains or more like 4 weeks out I’d say.

A.k.a said: What size are those tubes? Like .5 ml or something??
I gotta get some soon.
I also have a bunch of 0.5ml Eppendorf tubes I’d be happy to send you some as well if you’d like.
Let me know if you’d like some.
They are autoclavable.
A few years back I saved some atl#7 mycelium suspended in Sterilized dh20, and they worked out great. I haven’t used any since then, but with that species, it worked incredibly well for a very long storage period with absolutely no special condition for the sealed tubes, unlike other species I tried the same storage method.
This is a quote from a post I made in November of 2017

I mostly wanted to post for following .
I currently have ~17 quarts of "P. galindoi 'georgia'" (which I assume is ALT7) colonizing. ~11 were done prior and received a shake and are about a week from full colonization. The others will get shook up in a few days.
I am hoping to spawn them as I want to consume stones (although I may do 4 quarts at 100% colonization; I have 2 half gallon jars with normal mouths so I don't want those to produce too large of stones) either in trays in the SGFC or in dubtub shoeboxes with a 1:2 or 1:3 spawn to sub (1:1:1 coir, verm, black kow manure based compost with ~5-10% gypsum).
Hoping to get some prints and do a giveaway/trade in the spring.
Question: Has anyone dropped a fresh stone into distilled water for long term storage?
I have not tried using a fresh stone in dh2o, but i have tried the "practical method for long term storage of mycellium in dH2O using ependorf tubes as vials".
This is an Atl#7 culture from July of 2015

I finally got around to pulling it out and testing it this past spring. 3 out of 4 vials grew out very nicely with no problems and pinned like crazy. These cultures went to some wheat I had laying around.
. At 100% colonization, I spawned a couple quarts to an old garden bed on my property, and they flushed pretty much constantly all summer.

Sorry to get off topic. Just saying, contact me and I’d be happy to send you some tubes.

One of my very overcrowded raised beds.

And my main garden area.

I give away around 150 or so clones every spring to friends and family. This year I had way too many left over and had to cram a lot more than usual into my space along with all the mothers. Gonna be a long time consuming harvest this year.

Luckily we’ve had unseasonably warm weather for awhile. Had a few light frost a couple weeks ago, but other than that it’s been very nice. Other obligations have made me put off a big chunk of my harvesting. Stopped feeding 3-4 weeks ago as usually I’m finished with harvest by now. The time crunch is in for me now though and I need to tear though a lot of material as soon as possible. This is the view from my pool deck today. My uncle in the pic helping me out.

I would simply never, ever, ever, NEVER pay ANYONE $500 for ANY clone.
You are being ripped off, do not.
My thoughts as well. That’s such an outrageous unreasonable price.

still good but not as robust.
white widow wedding cake.
also trying to clone this bitch i got 4 already going.
romas and san marzanos

Nice maters.. Some of my cherry tomato are starting to ripen but all the others are still quite green. We’ve had so much rain this year that my larger tomato varieties are splitting before the even begin to ripen.
