This one isn't the Neville spice I'm after but it has a sweet, metallic smell tom it.
Neville's has a very unique smell, the haze spice I'm after is a head turner, incredibly unique. This one is a bit sweater and tinny.

New dad going outside tomorrow to make some bx and Neville's haze crosses. Peanut butter breathe from Thug Pug.
I will probably share some seeds in the marketplace in the future.

Yeh, flowering and seed production are priority schedules for the plant, very different to the veg cycle. Your plant uses nutrients differently and absorbs / releases as it veg or flowers. During flower it focuses everything to flower production and any real stress can cause issues in flower.
You can even force a healthy plant to stress itself enough to produce male flowers which is a clear indicator of each stage and its role in the life cycle.

We have used him for 2 years, many crosses later. We are crossing him back to his progeny now as well as a few other crosses, Neville's haze, Mac, peach crescendo, swazi, etc.
Lovely stature, good internodal spacing, dense flowers, purple bud, amazing flavor.... ticks all the boxes currently.

I also have a Neville's Haze x Jungle Mac seeding, should be an interesting cross.

A bit pissed off today, went outside to check on one of my seed moms, 3 buds were ravaged by birds, seeds opened up and dispersed all over the area.

A.k.a said: lol that sucks man but maybe they’ll shit seeds all over and there’ll be wild bomb weed growing.
So after four days of drying I threw the buds in a jar just to see and it’s at 64% after 6 hours. I haven’t been able to find paper bags anywhere, so weird. Luckily I’ve got some coming tomorrow so hopefully that’ll extend the drying period to an acceptable length.
It gets worse, I harvested the plant to see what I could save, the birds had picked allmof the buds clean, half seeds lying on the floor and no seed left on the bud.
You should have snapping stems before bagging.

openmind said: Question about the growth of roots.
Do cannabis plants continue to expand their roots through out their entire life, through their different phases of growth? Or does most root development/expansion occur during vegetative growth?
Reason I ask...The sherblato clones I got have a relatively small root system compared to the overall size of the plant. I put them into the ground about a week ago, I am just wondering how much effort/energy a plant will put into developing/expanding roots when it is about to transition into flowering and through out flowering in general. Do plant roots still grow/expand through out flowering? More than anything I want those plants to drop some roots into the ground even if they don't grow up much larger in size, having a proper/well established root system is so crucial for quality flowers/resin (and plant health in general, obviously)
A random rambling update....
I will be taking down one of my Strawberry Mango Crumble tomorrow morning before sunrise.
As of this morning my Mango Smile looks like it is damn near done, I'm going to give it at least another day or two. It is starting to get a bit of a "chemical" smell (like glue & acetone) to it that I really like, I find those chemical-like notes seem to make other fruity notes "pop" more.
Once I harvest those two plants their pots will be available again so I plan on starting another SMC and another MS lol.
One of the Sherblato clones I have looks like it has decided to go back into flowering instead of switching back into veg, the other one appears to be going back into vegetative growth.
All of my other clones are looking great, lush electric green and packing on a lot of growth each day.
My Creme de la Chem should be try enough to start trimming within 3 days or so....I have one lil nug I pulled off the plant to dry quicker that I will probably smoke in a bit here. The flowers on this plant look so damn good. I can tell this plant would be excellent for hash.

Damn...that's the worst.
Such a bummer, sorry to hear man.
Assuming you knocked up those plants specifically for breeding.
-OM
Yep, I breed with a friend and this batch was all Jungle Muffin, Jungle Mac(capulator) x Peanut Butter Muffin(my mom)
Only managed to save 4 seeds from a plant covered in seeds, quite devastating but hopefully one of the 4 is a keeper.

Check the buds closest to the dying leaves, they can rot and cause mold and further bud rot.
That second picture has me a bit concerned but it could just be the photo.

If you inspect the bud I think you may find you have some powder mildew inside, leaves that look like that die from the inside of the bud, fert burned leaves burn from the edges.

Looks ok yeah? This is the one from the first picture with the dying fans.

Looks ok, you'd notice an issue the moment you open the bud.

Some genetics definitely frost up the fan leaves, even males can have frost on the fan leaves. Make sure you save the trim and use it for hash or cooking.

A.k.a said: Just for future reference, if it had been mold what would’ve happened? Would it be brown/dry inside or would a cloud of spores puffed out when I broke it open or a weird smell or something?
It depends if the buds get wet or stay damp from high humidity but generally if it's bad you'll see the bud starts getting the white fuzz like trich on mush before it goes brown/grey and becomes powdery. If it's wet it can just be a pussy mess.
