I understand the lack of space. Just had to acknowledge the specimen.
Keep it up

Been a few years since my last grow but my problem was with taste. Two different strains with two different exceptional aromas. Dried and then cured for 2 months. Both green tasting still. Dried in the wrong conditions?
Sorry Lipa, didn't mean to take away from your question but your post made me remember. My harvest would smell and look A1 but then taste green no matter how many times I would sweat it or let it get overly dry.

Its hard to tell without good pics, but it sounds like you are probably pretty close. If you are growing organic you don't need to flush. In fact well made soil with good humus content will most likely get waterlogged if you try. I like to start giving them some type of sugar(malt, cane, etc.) water or just plain water in the last week or two. A simple earthworm and molasses ACT is nice too.
I like my plants to start their dying process usually before harvest. Patience in the end will get you better smell, flavor, and a more full spectrum high.
Why the sweet water the last few weeks? I've heard of molasses during the lifecycle, don't know the benefits though?
Your soil sounds amazing and I'm with you a 1000% on the fall look. I prefer outdoor but I love seeing a tent or room with all the colors. And I'm not talking purple or pink.

There's a collective who does that here, they plant hemp seeds in public planters all over the city, if you got a good eye you can spot them before the city removes them.
I've dreamed of doing this for years. Imagine how many organized people are doing this across the globe. Not just randoms planting mid seed at their local courthouse flower beds.
I love it

KannaKris said: Good stuff guys! I sure wish I could grow indoors. Living in hell, is rough on plants, and I have lost a lot due to the extreme heat, sadly. My plants are so far behind, that last year, around this time, I had some 7 footers by now. Here are a few that I put out recently, hopefully they will make it, and I'll get something. I'll not hold my breath.
This first one I caught just in time. it was wilted beyond belief, before I watered it.

It has been so hot, that I couldn't even make it out to my older plants. I'm not even sure they are all still alive. I reckon, this may be my last year growing, unless I move out of hell
Did you add anything to the native soil? There are many things to help hold moisture. Starting by what you put in the ground with them. I would get some brown mulch or at the very least some leaves and a nice layer of them at that and put them around the bases.

I'm not sure how beneficial it is, but it's cheap and doesn't seem to hurt anyone's crops so I figured I would try it. This is my first time growing

hummingbird said: Yeah, molasses is a carb source for the soil bacteria...and arguably the plant. It also has stuff like Ca, Mg, K, and Fe. Unsulphured blackstrap is the type you want for growing.
Thank you both
Edit: Torcho I love your comparison of hydroponics to fake tits. I'd only grow anything hydroponically for experience or in an underground bunker.
merch, please keep your secrets to growing a secret.

Had to pull her a week early due to height issues in this particular tent. Main cola was approximately 18" long and 3" thick in places. Side colas got heavy enough the branches needed staking. Hope she smokes as good as she looks.

Final yield: 155g
Give us a report on the flower . I've read nothing but good things about Jordan of the Islands genetics and this variety I added to "my must grow list." Beautiful frosty bud

It's an unknown strain that a couple of my uncles and family friends have been growing around my area for a couple decades. I've been working with it for about 8+ years. Always throws out a few suprizing phenotypes. Always some shade of purple, and usually very fruity scent and flavors. The strain will forever remind me of Christmas with my family, as there was always plenty around for the holidays. The smell of it burning and the flavor bring me back to to some great times with some family members that are no longer with us.
Edit: there are a few pics of last years plants of this strain in my gallery. Sometimes the purple is so intense that it look like there is something wrong from a distance.
Gorgeous bud and such an awesome story behind it's genes. Working it's way to heirloom status one day huh. It seems you and your family have something special.
I hope to have genetics that stay in the family like this.
