How does the story of Noah's Ark affect you?

They specifically chose for four small half-ounce coins of silver, struck to the image of Noah's Ark, from Armenia where it allegedly stranded, in the Armenian Highlands.

It cost only very little and the spirits provided for the money, the silver now acts as pedestals for several humble but precious altar pieces that are in place for years.

Noah's Ark, of Genesis, is a story uniting Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

The story of how a man was called to build an ark and warn the people. The people did not heed the warning but Noah did, then came a flood drowning all but the Chosen who were present on the Ark, of humans and animals, a pairing of each.

The story reads as metaphor: sometimes, when that which we believe in will call upon us to do a work, and when it does, we must do so on Faith alone, or be destroyed.

What does the story of Noah's Ark mean to you?

Noah's Ark and the bible in general is interpreted many ways. Some people take it quite literal, some people find the moral of the story or both.

The story is told in a time where giants (nephilim) existed due to the impregnation of human women from the sons of god (fallen angels). Well they multiplied quickly and literally became the concept of GIANTS (or the MANY).

Quote:

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Noah (the few) in this story lived a righteous life. He was ridiculed and mocked for his beliefs by 'the many or the giants'.

Quote:

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Quote:

The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

So the earth was wiped clean due to it's corruption and sin from the many nephilims and righteousness of the few was given a chance to thrive once again.

The formula or moral of the story is this... the few eventually become the many and the many eventually becomes the few. This law goes on infinitely it seems. It resembles a pure heart of a new borne child full of life to eventually becoming a old, and finally, corrupt through sinning and dying as a consequence. Only to have the cycle repeat itself again... and again... etc

Ultimately the message is not to get too corrupt and violent, etc. or else you're gunna pay for it. Whether you believe in sin or karma or whatever there's just some things you have to pay for.

The red pill or the blue pill. The chosen one vs the many. The truth and lies. The matrix movie is basically another rendition of Noah's ark where Neo aka Noah, the chosen one, escapes the false reality of the matrix (nephilim).

So that's how the story goes it seems. You can't have a protagonist without an antagonist.

Noah's story is actually older than semitic religions. It is a sumerian myth, also takes part in Gilgamesh with the name of Ziusudra. Same story, guy gets warned about the flood, asked to warn others etc..

The big flood represents the sinful daily life or culture of the community. Culture that can eventually destroy the civilization or the habitat of the living. Noah sees the future of this society and warns them, but they wouldnt listen.

So Noah told himself: "ok Noah, you ve tried your best to wake them up. you see they are hopeless. go build yourself a ship." which means to abandon the sick lifestyle of the society - stay above the flood.

“Make yourself an ark of gopher wood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch.” (Gen 6:14 )

cover it inside and outside with pitch so the sick ideas or thoughts would not get into your system. I beleive it is about living a monks life as a hermit.

There is a second prophet which has a similar story. Jonah spent 40 years and failed to warn and teach his community about "the flood". then he gets his ship together, and the ship sinks. he got swallowed by a whale and he had to travel in a whale's stomach for 40 days. because god didn't asked him to build a ship. Cosmic joke.
