Help ID pored mushroom San Diego County
    #25121046 - 04/07/18 02:54 PM (5 years, 10 months ago)

Can anyone help me ID this mushroom? Coastal N. San Diego County. Sorry no pics from the wild, didn't have a camera on me. Growing on ground right next to path, near a pine tree. No bruising noticed. UPDATED: buff (tan) spore print (with hints of yellow/orange) Thanks!

Maybe it's Suillus pseudobrevipes.  Which species of pine?

Torrey pine is a rare pine species, and might have unusual Suillus under it.  The Suillus expert is Nhu Nguyen, you could look him up and email him these pics.  Maybe he would want to study it.
