What temo are you keeping your jars at and do you tape the holes??? I want my jars to colonize that fast.

temp is probably between 70-75 degrees. his house has central air so wherever he puts the jars, it'll be between 70-75, which is kind of nice i suppose. says he kept the tape on his jars until the day that picture was taken. he's also got about 40 other jars and maybe half look like this one. the others have mycelium patches about the size of a half-dollar. as for the method, its just a regular brn rice/vermiculite mixture, place in a pot of boiling water for 45-60 min and then innoculated. not much caution was taken with regards to sterility as well. i think all those teqs claiming that anyone who's thinking of growing shrooms has to be anal about everything being sterile is crap. as long as you're not living in a hole, you should be fine.
