Ever notice how much you can get done in a small amount of time? * 3
    #25114860 - 04/05/18 02:08 AM (3 years, 1 month ago)

My spare time is at a premium now with work and home life. I get maybe an hour or two (or three at the loss of some sleep) to do my things. In the last 30 minutes I did the dishes, did my laundry, and moved 10 heavy boxes into our attic, which will allow me to organize like crazy tomorrow. Thats time I couldve easily blown watching TV or some shit.

Whos motivated with me? Lets get some shit done in the next 30 minutes. Report back here!!

I'm supposed to believe that you did a full cycle of laundry within 30 minutes?

OMG - I think I just had a breakthrough experience, this is going in my book. I have done the whole try and be productive thing before but never under such a crunch. The last 30 minutes I accomplished all of this:

1. Break down a bunch of cardboard boxes in our kitchen/living room and throw it in the trash.
2. Clean up all of my kids toys and put them back in the box in our living room
3. clean up random trash and mail clutter, throw it away
4. put some food away in the cabinets
5. get in my jacuzzi (self care, totally counts!)
6. meditate
7. get out of jacuzzi and shower
8. take vitamins
9. brush teeth and floss

All in THIRTY MINUTES! That is an insane amount of accomplishments, regardless of how small, in such a timeframe. Granted you cannot be that productive every waking moment without some kind of machine-like tenacity, but even multiplying it by 5-10x, would be life changing. Even just 30 minutes a night would add up after a few weeks.

I will definitely be doing it again. I am now chilling in front of the TV with some 15 minutes before going to bed.

haha no just from washer to dryer and currently drying - but that is the beauty of passive tasks - they work for you while you focus on other things.

Wish I could help you man

I like cleaning and stuff too

Working on a vegetable garden have so many more seeds to plant

giving away plants to people will have a bunch of gardens around

Going to do one in a random spot by the road when the cops pull up I'll just say it's vegetable plants :sun:

imagine how much stuff you could get done if you eliminated all forms of instant gratification from your life. i started doing that a few weeks ago and practicing asceticism and my productivity skyrocketed by like 1000%

of course i'm slacking off at the moment because i'm on here posting this

procrastination leads to excellence. you will never know what you are capable of until your back is against the wall of time.

disclaimer may lead to unnecessary stress and anxiety.

Most days I am amazed at how little I actually accomplish in 8 hours at the office
