Going to Utah
    #25113402 - 04/04/18 10:58 AM (5 years, 9 months ago)

Ive driven through Utah a couple times and it looks awesome. I will be going there in Sep. I am going to Arches,Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Parks. Anyone been to any of these? Do you have any recommendations for shorter hikes like around 2 miles? I have my longer hikes planned out already.

I have been to Sequoia and Kings Canyon in CA a bunch of times. It is my favorite place Ive ever been. I love it there. All around CA is awesome.Just so diverse and tons of shit to see outdoors.

Next door to Arches in Canyonlands I'd recommend The Joint Trail for a good afternoon excursion.  It's part of the Chesler Park Loop Trails

Stay hydrated out there!

Capitol Reef is another place worth exploring if you have time.  When I was there I backpacked the "Halls Creek Narrows".

I want to go to Canyonlands but it seems you would need a full day to really check it out fully. So when I land I plan to drive to arches and set up camp if I can camp there. Then there is an 8 mile loop trail right by the campground that sounds really cool. That would really be it for the day with eating and everything. Then off to Bryce the next day. Canyonlands will have to be for another trip.
