LSD jitteriness and trembling

Does anyone else get this on the higher doses? I’ve never had it happen before but I just dosed 360ug and was trembling and shaking as it took affect. Almost like I was shivering uncontrollably, I even had to curl up in a blanket to make it stop. Great trip, just curious about this.

This happens to me on gel tabs or when when I take higher doses as well, I feel like it may be a change in body temperature every time but it also could just be come up anxiety and initial resistance. Try to focus on anything positive like a good song or something while you curl up. Acid always really stimulates me. I'm six hours in from taking a tab tonight and I'm still very restless, acid is exhausting from all of the tension.

Yeah I’m 9 hours in and still going strong, but the peak is over. I’m usually more experienced with high doses of mushrooms, which don’t give me that jitteriness. Kind of caught me off guard, but still a great experience once I was off.

Imagine being blasted off in a rocket straight into space, you're gonna feel the come up especially of a dose that magnitude, turbulence!
The entire energetic and conscious field of the body is upgrading to a higher frequenCy of the universe, you should feel the adjustment especially within the ego
Sometimes shaking is just chakras opening up

this is normal yeah, its just like really intense hypertension. If im out on a cold night in town on some L, I will be shivering like crazy!!! I
I find taking magnesium before dosing L can help me with the jitters/tensions.

partly temperature and shivvery-ness, partly anxiety of altered state adjustments.
In a sense I agree with eclipse3130 that it is from entering another dimension and there is stress on your chakkras, but I think this sounds silly, so I will break it down to this: The other dimension is that of continua, plural of continuum, where ideas, sensations, & views continue or extend and trail over top of new experiences. The body sustains the reactions to the live experience, but it also suffers and shakes from the reactions to parts of realities/continua that are slowly fading: Every effort to type or read or move in any direction is sustained both as a mental form and as physical tension (face, head, neck body, arms, legs etc.). As a result, unless the tripper is consciously releasing through the continua, tension builds wherever it starts. Most of psychedelic shaking is this; even most of vasoconstriction, is not vasoconstriction, but the exhausting tension of persisting reactions to passing continua.
(happens with mushrooms and weed, as well as lysergamides, depending on dosage)
Going for a walk is great because the movement can help release tension as it builds. There is, however, no guarantee that any automatic release without awareness will work. In that way, what you do to let go of persistent psychedelic continua, as an awareness exercise becomes enlightening.

I do. Pretty normal. Most folks I've tripped with over the years experience this at one point or another, if not regularly when coming up on a good dose.
For me...this is totally normal and an aspect of LSD specifically. I'll get a bit jittery/shakey from mushrooms on occasion, and psychedelics in general, but LSD in particular can make me super jittery and have me trembling (mostly only during the come up).
For me I don't feel like it's because of anxiety, or because I'm feeling "cold".....There's two different aspects that seem to drive the "jitters and trembles" for me with L....For the most part I feel it's just a super electric/energetic type feel in the body, like my body is buzzing with so much "energy" that I tremble and become a bit jittery. I get this pretty much any time I'm coming up on a solid dose (150mcg+). The other aspect is becoming sensitive to heat/cold and/or having trouble maintaining a comfortable body temp, that has a little bit to do with it I'm sure....but most of the time I don't feel like I'm shaking because I'm "cold", I feel like I'm shaking because there's a tremendous amount of "energy" buzzing about & flowing through me internally.
And again...this only happens for me during the come up/transition into the trip. By about 3 hours after dosing, any trembles or jitters have faded away for me.
Like Blazer mentioned^^^...taking a magnesium supplement might help ease some of this jittery-ness...Or maybe taking a hot soaking bath with epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) before dosing or during the come up might help. But this just seems to be an inherent aspect of the LSD come up for some folks.
I also try to do some stretching sometimes during the come up if I'm feeling jittery and tense...putting focus into stretching and relaxing different parts of the body can help a lot in easing tension/trembles.
Speaking of such...I was at a friends house just a few days ago while he was coming up on 3 gel tabs of L (I was sober), and while we were standing around and chatting one of his legs was shaking and trembling intensely, it was hilarious. He couldn't control it at all. Dude was trembling and jittery as fuck for the first couple hours after dosing lol.

This happens to me quite often on 300 ug + now after I took a sheet it happens on just one tab. I put on more clothes or a blanket and it makes it more controllable. I'm also almost always cold, wonder if it's the lsd or the fact that I'm a little uncomfortably cold at times and the lsd brings out the "you're uncomfortable" feeling

Yeah, it's pretty common. So is shaking from being cold. I have it happen on LSD and shrooms, but shrooms also give me uncontrollable muscle twitches (around 4g+) which I don't hear about too often.

Yeah it effects my nerves , and the next day too, I think it has to do with ergotine derived actions on the nervous system since they are also anti andrenaline actiing as well , but vaso constriction also accounts for it .
Eat some vitamins c .chamomile tea or some stronger nervine drug on come up

Any time , and don't let the self analyzing nature of it get the best of you , lsd insight s can be brutal sometimes , gotta remember you're worthwhile , human etc , all the normal trueisms
