Had I thought of it at the time, I would have used wide mouthed jars instead of small mouth, and gone for some bottle cultures.  :smile:

Right. That's what I think I may do with my swab just to try and get something out of it. Was the pine mulch something you picked up or prepared yourself?

At some point, someone will stumble upon a culture that does fairly well, and then it is on. We just need this to be domesticated.

I think first we need to find out what it likes(conditions/sub) best an put together a solid tek with easily replicable results an then look for specimens for domestication for indoor cult that matches cubes productivity(possibly).

I will be looking for specimens from the very start. They should do just fine on compost and coir. I'm going to try spawning straight to coir 1st. If culture is good and clean it should work.
