My fellow shroomeryians, thank you for all your help, I know I'm annoying as F** by now, This is my first grow, lol for all those that are used to my annoying ass questions like mushboy, elastic tigers and those who I'm missing out, thank you. You guys are gems I wouldn't have gotten here without the help of this forum..

And truly this is for research purposes as far as cultivating and growing something goes, I'm a farmer type of guy/girl and I enjoy these processes and I'm not going to say some story like I'm super depressed but this is to help me grow spiritually more, me and my partner as well. He/She has never tried shrooms, and I wanted her first time to be with me..were almost about to get married now too. And I haven't done them in like 7 years..

Anyways my questions, does my sub+spawn seem ready? Should I mist it at all? What's the dealio guys, let me know.

From what I have seen and read... By the look of your substrate I would either fruit now or add a casing and fruit about 3-5 days after but your substrate looks a tad dry as there was no sign of condensation on your walls. Hopefully someone else with more experience on the matter will queue in with more knowledge for you.

when was the tub spawned, what did you spawn to what? When the fruits will come depends of when you spawned the tub and not when you "introduce fruiting conditions"..

If a tad, dry do you suggest misting just a bit on the walls?

I mixed my spawn with the substrate and placed it in the tub, And I did this about a 8 days ago.

It is only a guess but I would say mist your walls for sure. And give it another 2 days before starting your fruiting. Hoping someone with this type of growing confirms my advice, as I said I am only going by what I have read here and wouldn't want to lead you in the wrong direction as I only have personal experience with cakes to date.

you don't mist the walls. You mist your sub. The walls don't grow.

Pins will start to appear 15-20 days after spawning, depending on temp and size of the sub. Just keep the lid on for another week or until you see pins forming.

When you start to notice pinning you can simply just flip the lid or loosen the poly filled holes or whatever, as long as the substrate doesnt dry out to quickly. GL

Alright thank you, got that. So on the dry ish part that some other user brought up do you suggest I mist a bit?

Does this look like mold to anyone else?

https://ibb.co/nCfrvS

It doesn't look like "just dry" bruising to me. Something else is going on.

And then in this picture the whole subs looks well colonized except for the area in the middle.

https://ibb.co/fvYi9n

Could be from poor mixing but this just doesn't look normal to me.

Your scaring the fuck out of me tiger ): ........ Say it isn't so.

From everything I've read all these things don't appear to be molding, including from the contam comparision post, but I'm not a trusted cultivator or expert... damn I hope it isnt.....

I could be wrong  but dry bruising is usually a little more even whereas this bruising is happening in dots and there is literally bright white mycelium directly next to the blue stuff so it's hard to tell if it's just from being dry or if something is stressing out the mycelium. There are molds and bacteria that can kinda intertwine with the mycelium and remain hidden but cause it to look bruised.

Do you have any pictures of the jars you spawned? Was there any bluing in the jars at all that you remember? Even little dots?

Not only my shit for brains mixing, due to my first time, but also what could have been streesing it out is when I cracked the lid I noticed all condisation stopped and it got really dry, too much air flow i guess., and all thats left is dropets on the sides of the tote, so I closed the lid back up and codensation continued, and I was thinking about misting, idontknow tho.

Okay at least now i know that uncolonized area was just from uneven mixing. That's good news.

Keep an eye on it and keep up your misting. You have a lid on that tub right?

Yeah I got the lid back on and tight, I'ma boil some tap water, put it in my misting spray and mist it, I really didn't know you could mist Spawn+sub when its still colonizing, also i see a lot of people including the no air tub tek suggesting to start fruiting condition once its 50-70 percent colonized.

Edit: Just read your pm deff will wait a couple more days!
