RX100 suffered a slow debilitating demise. I have a panasonic FZ1000 now. On par performance wise with the RX100 but isn't a complete piece of crap.

Cultivated outdoor P.alutacea. Short stocky specimens. Some developing wavy caps.

First wild P.Alutacea

They get much more leggy in a natural setting. Growing from Kangaroo dung here.

Below is where I find them. Reeds provide an ideal microclimate.

The grasses beneath remain moist throughout the day even without rain.

Medandi you prick, i was goin for a hat trick with first wild sub finds, and what did ya do.... yaaaa fucked it... nah bro dont be sayin i been lazy.... you med.... you fucked it. on another note....
YOU BAD MOTHER FUCKER THE SEASONS ON! i'll be oot n a boot by the end of the week with that news. awesome feeling to be back, haven't had access to the sacred fungi for 6+ months and feeling a strong need to consult the fungi therapist.
gettem while you can guys and after this last 6 months i say if your someone like me that somewhat relys on having that weekly consultant then get to work cos 6 months of swirling thoughts without a clear answer is a torture i wish i could condense into a shroom trip then get an answer instead of this dragged out process of never having a reliable conclusion, cant live like that....
that said these things seem to have as much potential as you allow them to. believe in and use their power, any kind of ceremonies, meaning and 'magic' that can be added  will make the postive effects last longer and thats what we all want (am i just telling myself this?)
these tools could be a quick fix or a permanent and positive change in your lifes trajectory and i assume like most people do when having these experiences, they can go the other way so treat them with respect. that said, my most profound trip started after saying "i hear all this crazy cool life changing shit on shrooms that happens yet all i fuckin got is the effect of someone holding a lace doily in front of my face... yeah its pretty but im fuckin suicidal over here" and the mushrooms replyed "is that so" and then shit got scary, real, magical and kicked those suicidal thoughts out of my head for the better part of 2 years till my extended theropy turned into saving up all the new release movies and watching them tripping to judge if they were any good or not cos cant trust em sober.... am i rite?
anyways my first 'trial' came up less than a month after my final trip of my stockpile and has/will linger till i can get some more now that the seasons started and of course like it was written the situation presented itself once the mushrooms were gone and cos of the reliance on them to think out my problems and see them from 'that' perspective i was crippled when it came to dealing with a small issue without them, now a week or two away from a trip, i still need an answer yet i know now it cant change anything but i still need to know and see from that perspective, and to take that information in as a seed, nourish it to make it grow till it eventually flower's so my lesson will give me perspective from the entirety of its own spectrum? of intricacy's, specifics  variables instead of some hokey depak shopra style quote with the word quantum in way too many times just to get you through another week.

TL;DR same ol respect bs, saying it like i didnt know what i was in for cos i still learned the hard way

sorry for grammar, grammar is a goal for me, still dont know what a noun or a verb is, could probably remedy that like.... immediately. but we'll see

#edit
sorry for even posting this lol, half a trip report, half a hacky lesson on the basic rules of tripping written in a long drawn out way with no grammar or relevance to the thread... lucky whitebelts in the name. oh god how i need mushrooms

Hey, noob here. Looked up around a 100 acre property I have access to in the Flureau hills but not a bean. As it's pretty private was going to ask a friend for some spores and cultivate.

How long after rain does it usually take for the mushrooms to appear?

Pictures of the area.

Nice looking spot.
The third pic looks too Sandy but there's always the exception.

Looks green enough but you're now waiting for the Temps to drop.

Welcome to the shroomery,  post pictures of the cap, gills and stem of any mushrooms you want identified, spore prints also help. Take pictures before you pick them also.

I hope you appreciate the irony here. I spent a couple of hours kicking about the hills in Fleurieu yesterday and spotted nothing. Standing at a family event in Coromandel valley and spot a patch. Sadly, running around with my kids and not wanting to mix my fun life with my real life!
