Disposing of contamed jars?

I have a yellow contam in my jars and I heard yellow can be deadly. Whats a safe way to dispose of the contaminated substrate? Should I say screw reusing the jars and use explosives?

A decently safe way to dispose of contaminated jars is to fill a small bucket with 10% bleach solution, and slowly unscrew the jar lids while submerged. Try to avoid making too many large bubbles as this can defeat the purpose. After the bleach has filled the interior of the jar, let it sit for awhile [overnight is perhaps overkill, but not a bad idea]. The jar can be emptied while still submerged [messy] or removed from the bleach and emptied outdoors. The same bleach solution can be used for many, many jars. I've heard of people just microwaving their jars. . .the problem with this is that while it may kill the organisms, the allergens [the real risk with mold-contaminated jars, IMO] are still going to be around. Using even a plain bucket of water will be more effective at reducing the allergen inhalation exposure. The best way to reduce one's risk is to dispose of contaminated jars while the contamination is still small.

Pressure cook them for two hours. Though honestly, I'd rather just throw it out. Better safe than sorry.

Just dump em outside and wash em with soap and water, dude. Just like you would with food storage containers that were left in the fridge too long. Just don't eat it and it won't hurt you

First, put on a hazmat suit with your own air supply. Then. . .
Heh, just kidding. Open them up outside, empty them into a trash bag. Try not to get any of the contents on you.
If you want to go nuts, leave the jars outside in the sunshine for a couple days. Then wash them. You can even soak them in a bleach solution, which is pretty over the top, but I've done it.

I know some people don't PC and just dump in the trash, but IMO it's not worth the risk of spores getting into the air. Better safe than sorry to just PC and ensure the spores are dead than take the chance of them getting onto your clothes while dumping or in the air.

I read this about a month ago and tried it with two half pint jars of grains... Never again. Real gnarly ones I just throw away the jar. I did set two other jars outside for twp days in the sun/ freezing temps at night and dumped them in the woods/ covered with leafs.

How is it a waste of time? I tried disposing of trich tubs by opening them in my house when I very first started growing and had a trich problem for 2-3 months after that. Biggest mistake ever.

Trich is everywhere you need good technique to beat it otherwise everyone would have problems after mold.
Every breath you breathe has trich spores in it.

Eh. I haven't had a problem with it since I started doing it that way. I'm also anal about my sterile procedure, but that's just me. I feel like I'd rather take extra time to know I did everything I possibly could to prevent contams. And that's why I rarely ever get any.
But back to your point - even if they are already in the air, isn't releasing a mass quantity of them by dumping contammed tubs in your house just exploding that rate and vastly increasing the parts per million they naturally occur? Giving you a greater chance they come into contact with your jars and tubs? I mean at the very least, if you don't want to take the time to PC, why not at least dispose of them outside?
