Hey fellas, I just got on the shroom train last year, right about autumn. I've always been interested in the great teacher, but didn't really take time to try to understand before then. I've been doing much reading, and searching. I've had a few cool finds, but haven't found anything I thought might contain psilocybin... Well, I found something today that I would like y'all to have a look at please. I'm a land surveyor, so I'm in the woods a bunch. I'm constantly on the look out while I'm in, or around the woods in Coweta/south Fulton co. When I saw this guy, he had already been picked. By what, not sure; however there was a box turtle right next to it foaming at mouth looking all crazy, lol. Anyhoo, I can't say for sure what it came out of, but it was found in a drainage area located 50' off a trail in the woods, that leads to a small branch that flows year-round about another 80' away. There were mature pines, and a mixture of hardwood in the area. Due to circumstances, I was unable to get habitat pics (had a green horn I was training, felt like it was a test to pick this up in front of him, and come up with some bullshit why I'm taking the time to pocket this shroom so carefully.!).
Lamellae appear adnexed
Also appears to be mycenoid.
Limited spore print on paper towel appears dark brown, to black. I have a gut feeling what this guy is, but I have no illusions of grandeur.

Thanks for having a look. I had my doubts when there was no blueing after getting beat around all day. Thought it was an ovioid. Sorry you had to move this.
