So I have made a bunch of Agar pp5's. They have such bad visibility! Im beginning to think why didnt I just buy some Petri Dish and pour my own instead of the the no pour tek. For the first timer I dont see how these are easier in any way since its hard to see in them and I dont know what im looking at is mold or mycelium. These have been sitting for two weeks. I took pics of just two because they are all about the same looking. White puffy stuff, I assume this is mold and the mycelium is the very small stuff on the outer edges that isnt puffy?

Thats what brought me to learn to pour Agar, is really not that difficult and the petris looks waaaaay neat!
Did you knock em with spores? If all looks like that you may try to move that possible tormentose myc to some new dish and see what are you dealing with...
Wait also for some more experienced member to check it out!

I personally suspect that they are going to end up being moldy. You'll find out in a day or two for sure.
How did you noc these? That will help.

Hey man that sucks to hear, I'm in the same boat struggling to get agar to work and get rid of the contam. If your using a swab try to only touch one small area of the dish. Where you have separate growth rings that could be contam.I'm trying to get another print now to start again.
