Im not asking for sources, this is a general question so I know if its even worth my time to look.

Can you still find good poppy pods on google?

Yes pods are readily available for purchase, the price is really shitty last time I checked, best to grow your own if the climate allows, fairly easy to care for and legal unless you are scoring the pregnant pods for sap harvest

So if I went that route how many do you think I could grow without raising suspicion?

What suspicion? How many people do you actually believe know what a poppy looks like or how to identify them?
Look like i said the plant is legal until you cut to harvest the opium. If you act like your doing something wrong itll attract attention, if your growing a feild it may raise a few eyebrows but a garden of a home with poppies isn't a big deal.
