Spotted a small patch of trich on it so I tossed it this morning. I have one more "APE" shoebox knotting up so I'll just see what that one looks like and post pics as long as it doesn't contam too.

Thx for the condolences haha. It's what I get for going MS syringe to grain, but this other tub is looking healthy as of right now. I'm starting some agar using that same syringe on Tuesday before work too, so either way I'm gonna keep working with whatever this syringe is. It was looking like some kind of PE variety before I tossed it, but it was too hard to tell this early on.

With APE, sometimes phenotypes that pop up will err on the side of looking like PE, and sometimes they will pop up looking like PF albino which stands to reason being that APE's parents are both PE, and PF albino. Sometimes they even pop up looking like a conglomeration of both parents. 'Calico'.

Right on, thanks for the information! Makes sense, I was surprised that when I searched for this I couldn't find anything else other than legitimate mislabeled syringes. Those look really rad by the way. I am pretty bummed that the last one contammed. I would have loved to see how they would have turned out.

I'm thinking they will be ready in about 24 hours, but I have no experience growing APE so I'm not totally sure. It's hard to tell with these lil guys. What do you all think?

Im no pro but id say take some ms sectors an grow them, like idk maybe 10 boxes in each run and let them flush out.
Keep old plates around for pins.
Some1 more qualified will chime in.
Ive got a colored aa+ pin, my first so im still fresh with this to im only proficient at standard cubes(for now winky face)
