I like animals. Humans aren't bad either.
But some of them are shit, the rest are mostly meh. Some are actually pretty cool but doubtful that I care if any of them live or die.

I can understand OPs' & this line of thought too, I think.
I find that while I generally "like"/care for humans as individuals - as "people" - I tend to feel very differently about them as a whole - as in as "mankind", the entire populace - if that makes any sense? it is difficult to explain, I guess but I'll try: while I would never want to see my family or friends suffering, nor even my neighbours, my peers, any individual, really, and of course I despise war & violence, I *do* find that a part of myself understands where OP and you are coming from, in that massive die-off of the population would/could be beneficial for us overall, as a whole. i guess it is like that quote, however it goes... something like "1 person dies - it's a tragedy; a million die it is a statistic".
I have to head out here but may come back & add a little more later... intended to write more but my people got here early.

Not necessarily misanthropy. May just be saying that he/she thinks the world is overpopulated for our own good, and also recognizing the fact that he/she doesn't actually feel any significant heartache when imagining the death of a mass number of essentially nameless, faceless individuals, which i think is almost universal due to the way we evolved tribalistically. Not exactly misanthropy. But i could be wrong about his/her actual sentiments

Neighbors is a blanket term though. What if they are smelly jerks who probably used the flames as a portal to hell from which they spawned? Your not thinking clearly and grouping all people into the “good” category.
Also bonfires are cool also I rent so I’d be displaced but not “out a house”

Im really dissapointed in Russia. They didn't start a nuclear war over syria or even do anything after the US bombed Syria despite their threats. fucking pussies both trump and putin are. and what the fuck ever happened to N korea. All talk, the little pussies are, all of em!
