Ravel: Sonatine is an amazing piano piece. Slow (2nd) movement especially beautiful. Chopin: Fantasie Impromptu
Other pieces: Shostakovich: 5th Symphony Bach: Solo Cello Suites (esp. 6th) Vivaldi: Four Seasons Bach: Gamba Sonata no 1
How can you pick just a few pieces? These are all dope off the top of my head but there's so so many more.

Okay, I won't be big-headed, but I know my piano works... And I've never taken shrooms before (Until in a a few days time , but I KNOW a piece that will absolutely blow you away... I've listened to it on weed many a time, and I'm sure tripping on mushrooms will only enhance this brilliant experience... What you are looking for is: Scriabin: Sonata No.2 (Sonata-Fantasy) in G Sharp Minor Link to the recording I usually indulge in (Tracks 1&2 are the one I mentioned, the 1st track is ESPECIALLY amazing): http://www.naxos.com/newdesign/naxos_cat.asp?item_code=8.553158 Trust me - it's worth the effort... I hope I get a lot of replies letting me know what you thought. P.S. - You can listen to low quality recordings through that link...

-Bach's Chaconne for unacompanied violin- yehudi menuhin (not his early works- somewhere in the middle- the only place i found with the cd is a sight in german! but it is on kazaa- though there is a lot of high frequency noise) I never listened to this while tripping, but I listen beforehand to prepare myself for salvia -Any of Scriabin's piano music is great- really sweeps you along like the waves of cubensis. His music tastes and smells good . -Bartok's 2nd Violin Concerto- yehudi menuhin and chicago symphony. -I agree with Shostakovich's Fifth. -All Beethoven, especially symphs 6,7, 9 and late string quartets. -Rachmaninoff, the bells. -classical indian ragas- Ravi Shankar?
Also, Walter (formerly) Carlos' Switched on Bach could be interesting.
