2nd flush
    #25077708 - 03/20/18 03:10 PM (3 years, 1 month ago)

hey all

i had a couple questions about what to do after you harvest your first flush, to enable a send, then possibly third flush

after harvesting, does a casing layer need to be put down on top? do you need to mist or side water the sub? or can you just harvest and set back in the tub?

cheers

I like to dunk mine in water for a solid 5-6 hours at least. It usually absorbs a ton of water and then I will put right back into tub.

Fruit as normal, no casing layer is really necessary after the first flush IMO. This is because the sub will shrink and side pins start to become inevitable - for me, at least. :tripping:

:whathesaid:

Dunking is an excellent way to hydrate substrates between flushes.
