 QUESTION regarding hot/cold water in multiple perc bongs  1

So I got a question, me and my mate got this tower bong with a perc ash catcher and we're debating either to put cold water in the tower and hot in the perc or the other way round, or either in both peices? We're looking more for flavour than hit size since we have some majorly frosty ice cream. Cheers.

I like room temp water. I used to make glass pipes and had people running all sorts of tests for me. I had lots of fun making your pipes for you. I listened to live Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix recordings really loud. My partner put on the Sublime and Korn and some odds and ends and The Doors and Pink Floyd. I grew up with Zeppelin and Hendrix.

Dude nice, do you still make? And i need to get into prog rock, my mate is obsessed with king crimson and Floyd. Think were gunna just go all round ice cold, the hot water doesn't seem to make much of a flavour difference

I like ice cold water on all levels and tons of ice in the ice catcher

I remember reading that the excess humidity from ice in a bong can precipitate a lung infection.

I would use ice water everywhere. Or at least chilled water.
Never heard of using hot water in one of the chambers. Thats a thing now?

Tested and confirmed, here's our review:
- Tower on its own with ice: Sort of harsh but good flavour, major bitch to clean after.
- Tower and perc with both ice: Better flavour and smoother.
- Tower with ice, perc with boiling water: Epic flavour, less smooth
- Tower and perc with both boiling water: Taste is indescribable it was that good, harsh as fuck
We also used hot tea which sorta fucked up the initial taste of the weed, but if you have time, and a perc, straight boiling in that and crushed ice with near freezing water in your main piece imo

Straight up? Cold clean water with crushed ice is an all round favourite cuz it doesnt fuck with the flavour and cools it the best, but with certain strains and flavours of tea in the perc, the smokes taste either amplifies or turns to shit
