Getting close on these.  The second pic is the supplemented coir.  They’re moving way slower but the myc is much thicker/stronger looking than that on the poo blend, though it’s hard to tell from the pic.

What's the species/variety?
I just found some of those screw cap containers- they look good for direct inoculation grows- better than the small 1/2 pint jars.

7 days since casing- nothing yet, oh well -if its going to do something I expect it to be real soon.

I'm doing some agar work on Australian variety of Pan cyan now.
Since I just got some of those cool screw cap containers- maybe i'll do a direct inoculation grow using them.

I've just cased 4 MacMerdin style pancakes (I have 23 other jars waiting to finish colonization/consolidation). I've opened these four jars, scooped out the dry verm layer, cased with 50/50 peat verm plus gypsum & hydrated lime. The dry verm layer in jar 1 (on the left) was actually pretty wet and was colonized through. I hope it's not fucked.

Was that Australian the same as those with the red spore trait?  If so, would be cool if that popped up!

The Ausi spores did not look red.
