Alright, I'll tell a story about pan cinc in action. First the background: I hunted said species in Hawaii. Like P. Cubes they grow directly from cow manure (cultivators...). After picking some 4 dozen of these beautiful "roses" I ate half.
It had not rained for a week or two and the Hawaiians were getting restless. I'm an xpert in rain making when I have a mind too and the locals told me that only one small rain cloud was around. Having read the book of Ezekiel I knew it was possible to make something of that tiny cloud.
I lay there on the lanai of green astro turf looking up at the ceiling. All of the sudden the Nazarite spoke to me. He said 'why haven't you spoken to the Father - it's been a long time - and He misses you.' I felt a bit guilty about this - but thought Jesus was quiet enough of an invisible friend. So I mumbled something silly like - 'I thought you were enough and I didn't want to disturb the Big Guy.'
After this I was allowed to visualize the cloud and to sweep a warm air mass off the land in a circumvent loop that fed the cloud and brought it land ward. Yes, that's Moses style crazy. It took perhaps an hour maybe less but I was rewarded with the hugest rain storm ever.
Naturally - picking was easy over the next few days...

That's why I was so confused by this sub. It started off fine and then a few spots appeared. I think the KSSS is really aggressive and it beat out most of it. But yeah I was confused until the smell came. I'm just really hoping these last two tubs are ok and that at least one of them is an APE.

I'm sorry to hear that. My KSSS is now fertilizer. But hey. Things will change for you then suck and get better again. I was having a good run of it for a long time before I let stuff go to shit so I'm not going to complain.

I have noticed alot of people using micro pore tape instead of polyfil. Can anyone who has tried both let me know what you think works best? I have 2 tubs going now and a 3rd almost ready to fruit i am going to try micro pore tape on the 3rd any suggestions would be great

i like tape if i have modded tubs. my cats will steal all the poly out of tubs and they would chew on jar filters too.
but i do like the poly in the pantyhose idea. beyond that tape works fine.

I personally have never used poly and probably won't... But if I do poly in pantyhose seems to be the way to go...less mess

Polyfil is for pillows and stuffed animals, I have used it and will not do so again. The same goes for MP tape though. I'm sticking with SFD and I would consider tyvek for tub holes, but I say go unmodded with bins. Keep it simple, keep it clean, keep it boomin.

Unmodded tubs are great for those that have never put holes in a tub before but for those that have mp tape is probably the easiest and cheapest way to go imo. Like everything else mushcult related its all about finding out what works best for your particular situation. This site is chalk full of guidelines and suggestions its up to each of us to find out what works best
