Second Grow

Hi everyone! I don't really have a question I just wanted to share my second grow progress. The first cakes just finished their second flush. I got half an oz out of each flush.

So I'm off to the next grow! I had some brf left over but I didn't want to do cakes again. I made an LC with the last if my MS syringe about a month ago (I know I know, not the cleanest method.) I used the LC for 8 jars which took about a week and a half to hit 100%. I then spawned them to 2qts of coconut coir. Pic shows the LC I used and the cakes before they were grated into the coir.

Looks to be doing ok. I would wait till you see a pin or 2 to fruit if I were you.

I'd just leave the covers on till about a week after spawn and then spray and get those condtions like https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/23999053
Then dub tub when pins are grown out to an inch of two.

Only 4 days after spawn, you can prob fruit, but I think you would get a better yield waiting a bit.

Just leave the lids on and mist when needed.

Thanks for the link I've been trying to find a good thread with example pictures. I think I will wait a little longer before I fruit them since it's only been a few days.

So my tubs have plenty of knots but they seem to have stalled. I think my moisture is probably off. Not sure where to go from here I'll post pictures when I get home.

I have a bunch of jars I was going to spawn to bulk but at this point I've had more luck with the cakes.

Yes, those are tiny pins. Pre-pins i call em. I see them on cakes occasionally.

Perhaps you started had too much FAE in the earlier stages, making the mycelium process the available food source too fast and too soon? Just a thought of mine, don't act on it unless other more proficient people agree, still learning and new to this community as well!

Although it doesn't really look that bad in the latest pic
