Is the type of mister important?

Hi everyone, soon im gonna be starting some 6 quart shoeboxes and im just gathering all of my supplies to make sure im ready.

I have a small mister bottle that creates a fairly fine mist, but i want to make sure this is alright to use. The mist is pretty fine so im not sure if it will be able to create the large beads of moisture on the surface that i see in other people pics.

Does this look like it would be fine for 6 quart shoeboxes or should i go out and buy a regular large spray bottle?

The fine droplets will coalesce into large beads on the surface. It will work fine. You'll have to refill it more frequently than the 32 Oz one I use.

an empty and cleaned out febreze bottle is what I use. the big ones I find at walmart dont mist finely enough and get big droplets hitting the substrate. that one should be fine just an idea if your finger gets tired :biggrin:

How wide is the spray? I stopped using my sprayer because it has such a wide mist, everything around my tubs were getting soaked.

Glad I found this post. I've definitely been using a spray bottle that was not misting fine enough. I should be able to see better results now. Thank you.
