Gold Mining * 3
    #25060594 - 03/13/18 03:37 PM (3 months, 9 days ago)

That's right, I'm gonna gold mine 2 full buckets of nuggets this summer and I know where they are. Just gotta get a metal detector and pry up the boulders. some people make it look hard but I've been moving boulders for years. Then I can retire exactly where I want. Fuck this rat race. Should take me a good month. I'm no flake or dust collector.

I watch that show 'Gold Rush' on Discovery Channel. You take a drink everytime they say gold.

There's an abandoned gold mine 1/4 mile from my house

They know that they don't know what they're doing. Hoffman crew gets paid by the network to go out there and dick around. I think Freddy has about had it. lol

They're putting hundreds of thousands, life savings into multiple gambles. I have a shovel big blue pick, prybars, and a keen sense for old stream beds as well as a generator and demo hammer if shit gets rough.

Getting a good metal detector this week or next week.

How are you so sure? What are the tell tale signs that there's gold in them hills. If you know they are there then why haven't you mined them yet?

When you're done with the spot can you tell me where it is and I'll get your sloppy seconds

I've done a lot of prospecting in NW arizona, seen some crazy shit. You guys see that show Devil's Canyon, one guy rappelled down and found huge nuggets in a small pool.

Hmmm. Maybe I should pick up a metal detector. I'm in the home of the gold rush. There should be some gold left over somewhere. Where is gold usually found? Are there other bigger rocks that you look for or is finding it kind of random?

Pretty much everywhere has been covered by detectors. You have to find newly-exposed ground in gold-bearing beds, look for wash-outs and landslides. You could also go over old ground with the new deep-seeking detectors, but they cost like $8000.
