but you were wrong about NATO exercises being held in "close" proximity in Russia

and you attempted to tell me as a result of your position that it would have been logistically sound for a bunch of European NATO allies to send soldiers and equipment across the pond to Canada instead

so, yeah, your inaccuracy and attempts to portray Russia in a particular light at times has built up enough skepticism for me to look into other sides of issues

For those who don't remember that discussion, I argued that Russia was correct to consider NATO exercises being held in Norway (a country that shares a border with Russia) "near" Russia, since the US argues that Russia being anywhere in the Western hemisphere is near enough to be a threat (see the discussion here and here).

Do you not see the double standard?
...

That is a fair point, but it does not negate the falseness of the statement that the article was founded upon

while you have been painting it as coup that overthrew popular Ukrainian leadership

It was clearly a coup.  I've shown this evidence of high level US politicians like John McCain and Victoria Nuland rallying people in Kiev against Yanukovych, I've discussed Victoria Nuland’s intercepted phone call and Obama’s admission to name just a few of the many sources of evidence.
...

Yeah, and personally recognize the Ukraine citizens involvement and satisfaction with the outcome to be more convincing evidence
tho this is after seeing you espouse your position for ages, and only recently looking into the counter-propaganda narrative

it is like you said -- Ukraine citizens elected a president who did not support Russia, then Ukraine citizens got upset when he changed to a position that did support Russia
and the country was thrown into upheaval until the citizens were satisfied

Oh no he had to abandon his estate and private zoo. Come on dude. The guy was the epitome of post soviet corruption. He was ripping off the people of Ukraine and they finally got fed up. It’s funny how you don’t give a shit about wholesale corruption when it doesn’t fit your narrative.

It's funny how you don't give a shit that I already agreed with that:  "I'll absolutely agree with you here.  All Ukrainian politicians appeared to be extremely corrupt, until (maybe?) Zelensky."

The entire complex is enclosed by a five-meter tall fence along the perimeter.[14]

Would you me to provide some examples of other world leader estates?

Pretty sure the annexation of Ukrainian territory by Russia wasn’t in the constitution either. You’re fine with that.

Dude, why do people never mention the golden statues?
He had a 24K gold bottle of vodka, golden bust and even a gold loaf of bread (can’t make that shit up).

When asked about the zoo, he said “I love animals. So if I find a deer or mountain lion, I kept it. Soon, I had a whole collection.” Fucking lions and flamingos wandering around a Ukrainian forest🤣
But hey, maybe he was setting up a safari for when putin comes over, all bare chested on his horse.

As I've told you many times, the unconstitutional vote to leave Ukraine was AFTER the unconstitutional coup.

After ya Yanuk ran, activists stormed his estate. A week later it opened as the Museum of Corruption” where every Ukrainian can come see their tax dollars. The house was intact, the zoo was still there, and so was the 1KG golden loaf of bread.

Once a country decides its constitution doesn't matter, then there really isn't such a thing anymore.

Omg his arguments are getting sooo paper-thin. You guys about to start debating the philosophical concept of a nation and how it’s opinions/decisions are gauged.

Where is the inconsistency?  If you decide your constitution doesn't matter, you don't get to decide it matters for some things but not others.  THAT'S inconsistency.

Has the chemical name or structure of the Novichok agent been released yet?

Very curious about that one as a chemistry enthusiast.

They're all organophosphates, but I mean the specific structure. I'm very curious which one of the hundreds of analogues they weaponized.
