Tax Reform
    #25055390 - 03/10/18 11:22 PM (6 years, 20 days ago)

My aunt didn't understand why her taxes were still the same as 2017.  My mom had to inform my aunt the new tax code doesn't start until 2018.

Watch out with these new withholding tables. This shit was rushed through so quickly and by the time the kinks have been worked out you will have gone six months underpaying and will not only owe when you file 2018, but also a penalty.

The Trump administration is pushing American businesses to withhold less in taxes from paychecks by February, aiming to quickly deliver the boost in take-home pay that Republicans promised their tax law would bring.

But the rush could expose millions of workers to the risk of underpaying taxes to the government now, which means they might owe more than they are expecting when they file tax returns in April 2019.

Thank the great sky fairy for PAYE, and the Government shaking our pay packets and taking it's cut before we even get to see it. I am so blessed to be living in this United Kingdom...
Truly. Blessed.

i was hoping i seen koods in here bitching about something, that's better, without reason.  He likes to complain about the new taxes but can't tell you why it's bad, except that Trump did it and everything Trump must be mad.  I think the extra money that's in his check that he's pist about he should venmo me.

You don't lower tax rates the this point of an economic cycle. Tax rates shoud go up to control inflation. Instea trump is enacting inflationary policies... lower taxe rates and tarrifs on widely used resources. He doesn't understand economics.

It's just ridiculous to stimulate an economy thats already running at full speed. You get a short term boost by sacrificing long term stability.

We should stick with Obama policies that brought us the stronger job growth during his last 5 years. Trumps jobs numbers are struggling to match what obama produced.

What else would you expect from a bill that was written out on napkins during lunch?

G.O.P. Rushed to Pass Tax Overhaul. Now It May Need to Be Altered.

The legislative blitz that rocketed the $1.5 trillion tax cut through Congress in less than two months created a host of errors and ambiguities in the law that businesses big and small are just now discovering and scrambling to address.

I'd rather they lower taxes then increase the min wage
went from 7.15 in 2012 to 15.00 in 2020

these mofo's don't even have college degree's or job experiance and they're going to be buying houses before me
imagine a fucking 8 year old buying a home before you do at 32, i'm fucked no matter what I do, rent will be 2k soon

I took an economics class.  As long as you pay your debtors, you're good.  We need more gold and silver.

I would rather underpay and then pay when its tax time so the government is holding money that I could be investing, but I see your point that if you aren't ready for it then you could be in trouble.

I don't think they should do either. They should keep taxes the same as they are now and spend the money better. Why will an 8 year old have a better advantage than you? If you're skilled then when they raise the min wage then they will have to raise the wages of a skilled worker, otherwise they will just take an easy 7-11 job for the same pay. If min wage goes up then everything will, that is why it doesn't make sense to raise it.

We're all screwed anyways. There just aren't enough resources to keep everyone going at the rate that we are reproducing and stripping the land.
