How much room does one actually need to grow?

How much room do you actually need to grow stuff? I have a smaller tote inside of another one, but the one that is on the top is a perfect fit, the only thing is its smaller height-wize. Its like 6-8in tall max, and its got a clear cover. Will this work fine for fruiting? Thank you. I hope this will work because its a VERY nice setup someone i know has made and it would be a waste if it didnt!
Thank you.

Well this dog i know plans on doin 1/2 pint then doing the SOS tek. Would this be sufficient? If they did grow larger would they just hit the top and curve, or would they break themselves? Thanks bro!
I really hope this dog's shit comes out all cool, its a kinda odd setup but very airtight and nice. Its basically like a 40 gal tub on the bottom and a smaller one that fits airtight on top. The dog has a 250 watt aquarium heater in the bottom tub heating about 10 gallons of water to create heat. He will be installing a cool mist humidifier to the top tub and also 3 60 gallon air pumps to the top for air exchange, does this sound good?
Peace. Thank you.

Well i will either be doing the SOS tek or 50/50 Casing, so i dont think its overkill, i mean why is it overkill to have the perfect environment?
Thank you.

That's some great input, on this 15 year old thread.
Good job.
