Hi everyone, first of all sorry for my english because isn't my native language.
Here are some of my petri dishes where I'm not sure if there is a healthy mycelium or there are some bacterias which I can't identify. I'll upload some pictures and mark in red the part of the petri dish where I think there are some bacterias so you can tell me if it's ok or not.
Petri Dish n° 1:
here is where I think this kind of crater could be some bacteria (I know is not good to make the mycelium colonize the whole dish because of contaminants, but it's an old dish)
Petri Dish n° 2:
what about here where mycelium doesn't grow?
Petri Dish n°3:
here the question its quite similar with the n°2
I've got more dishes but I think with these could be enough.
Also I think my mycelium never grow "strong" and grows really slow, I don't know if I should change my recipe or it's just the genetic of the mushroom. My recipe it's PDYA, 500 ml of water,10g agar agar, 10g potato starch, 7g dextrose, 1g yeast. Should I change something? maybe the yeast?
I would like to thank to all the TCs which have taught me ALL and they don't even know it, like RR, Bodhi, Pasty, Pussyfart, agar, Cron, Frank, Stropharis, SBJ, etc, etc. There are no words which could express my gratitude to you...CHEERS!
