I stated that newer generations of sweetener are associated with a ton of what were rare cancers/syndromes, aspartame is rare now and not anywhere near as much. The whole reason you/everyone believes that it's so harmful was founded on a lie/propeganda, exactly like is so common with drugs. Enough of anything will kill you, whether aspartame, salt, or water. They just tested its LD50 to see how much was dangerous. I did not nor will disagree with the study about their effect on weight, it is ultimately irrelevant as a small, and easy reversible "problem". Diet drinkers are more likely to be overweight period, we don't know yet what effect any artificial sweetener has. Again, that is irrelevant to what I disagreed with in your post.

I find that very strange because I was inside my house alot not working and i lost 10 lbs of muscle which is to be expected but somehow since then I've gained 30 pounds of fat, even though I really don't eat much but I do drink one soda a day other times I'll just dump it in the sink.

You should dump them all in the sink. They make me sick, literally. I'm not the only one, here are some links to more info about serious side effects. Did you know the fda stopped accepting reports on bad reactions to aspartame? They got tired of hearing it I guess

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.” (attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville political philosopher Circa 1835)
