Strange mycelium growth and deformed pins

So I have had this cake fruiting for a few days now and it is looking pretty weird. I have never had a cake look like this before so if anyone can give me advice I would appreciate it.

I had that happen before... never found out what it was. Came from same syringe as normal cakes.

Alright will do thanks. Is it possible the bacteria could spread to my other cakes? Should I isolate this one?

Also was wondering if this is cobweb. I flipped the cake upside down and found this.

Naw bacteria is not a huge threat itself but will weaken your sub

I'd isolate it. Once I got cobweb mold in my tub it spread to every cake eventually.

Thats the thing though idk for sure if its cobweb. Its been in fruiting for a while now and the suspected cobweb hasn't spread at all. I always heard that cobweb could cover a cake in a couple days.

So I determined its not cobweb due to the fact that its all turned blue haha. Thanks for all the help guys! :smile:
