Cactus yellowing

Two of my young cacti are yellowing, any idea what causes this? Anything I should do?

Looks like either sunburn or rot to me, are the damaged parts soft/mushy?

I think some kind of rot.
Have the young cactuses been wet or in a humid environment?
Little strange it comes in the middle of the cactus, have you sprayed them with water?

Looks like sunburn to me. It will thicken up and return growing strong if you adjust your conditions as needed (:
