I'm sure it will look pretty clear on the dish. It will only be like a 1/4" thick or so.

That will definitely work, and yes dme stands for dry malt extract. Pilsner malt extract is an extremely light malt extract (2L) but it is not the same as extra light malt extract (3L). Pilsner malt extract is made from pilsner malt, extra light malt extract is made with 2-row if I remember correctly, and their potential gravity might be different (idk, I don't brew with extracts). Unless you're brewing beer you don't need to worry about it, either one will work just fine and both will be crystal clear.

i think if you scroll all the way to the bottom and hit the "toggle favorites" link. in the extra info box
a more visible version of this button might be a nice addition for sure

So I am getting a p. nebrodensis culture and it calls for a ripening phase. What exactly does that mean. Here is where I am getting my information from.

there's a finger with a string tied around it at the bottom of each post that makes every post in that thread notify you in your threads

There should be an option for both. I do all my post editing on my PC cause its 1000000 times easier. But I answer a lot of questions while at work on my phone

When it comes to printing spores do you guys print one or more from every tub or naw? Or skip some tubs and then when you do print you make a whole bunch of them at once?
I try to take one or two from each tub I do. I've never messed with doing like 10 at a time. I'm just seeing what you folks think on the subject.

Consolidation of spawn is my guess. My oysters would fruit after 10 days post spawning to bulk but I would get better flushes and more weight if they sat for up to 30 days.
These are cold shocked to help initiate fruiting like other oysters.

I picked up 350lbs of rye from a local farmers yesterday. It's straight out the combine. I'm trying to figure out a good way to clean it. It has straw, some dead flies, and other random stuff in it.
Any of you have a good idea?
