Mateah. I'm probably all upside down on this, but if you juiced the shroom wouldn't that be all water? I guess I thought the actives were locked inside the flesh itself. Isnt this why we dehydrate them? Maybe the psilocin is in the water and it leaves when we dry them.

Yeah it's the fresh fruit that does that to me..dry isn't as bad, sometime the pukey feeling is there but for the most part I don't experience that feeling from dried fruits

I fry my dried shrooms in hot bacon grease for 60 seconds before I eat them with whatever. My favorite is a peanut butter/nutella and jam sandwich. Yum.

I have one last confession to make.
I confess a long time ago, I met someone. Someone named psilocybe cubensis. It was just a chance meeting, somebody said you were just lying around doing nothing so that we may as well hang out together. Granted, our first date went a little shaky (I did vomit shorting after dinner) but we instantly had a connection to each other, a connection that has brought both of us to life. We feed each other, we comfort each other. Sometimes we argue and don't get along but our love for each other has never diminished over the years.
Psilocybe cubensis, I confess: I love you.

I have been an infrequent member of this board over the years, but I keep up my supporter account. I believe in mushrooms. And I believe in this site.

Hey Doc. You gotta take care of that shit. Your infection is pretty serious if it's rupturing blood vessels.
Anyways I confess I'm super happy when my third flushes look like this.

I confess. I stole a regular mouth pint jar from the kitchen at work today. It stinks bad on the inside, but I took it anyway. I'm terrible I know...

Pretty sure it was a lazy ass co worker that finished up his jar of beets and set it up on a shelf to stink. I did the kitchen a favor really. I also help myself to foil and baggies and batteries etc when I need too so it's not a big deal!

I confess that hospitals won't let you do mycology while your a patient . I'm so freaking bored, I hate television and have tons of other shit I'd rather doing. They won't even give me any good drugs. I have double pneumonia, so, I will be having virtual mycology for the next few days. Guess I have time for all the reading I've been putting off.

Holy shit...a few days in the hospital they'd send me to a psych ward...I absolutely hate the hospital...last year I got hit in the head by a fuckin tree I was moving with a tractor with a bucket loader... The sound it made when it hit me was the most awful sound I've ever heard..then shit went black... Came to holding on to the bucket control lever and the fender.. I was pulling blood out of my sinuses for 2 days after the impact...needless to say I didn't go to the doctor for a week, luckily I didn't die in my sleep or some shit... Hope you get well Doc

Well, I confess that i had leftover agar in my Snapple bottle so I put it in water to boil first thing as I prepped SAB, I waited a long time until it was hot and super thin, I started my usual timer loaded the sab to cool, did my usual routine, came back one minute before timer went off because I was on the ball.. immediately recognized that my timer, set for the usual full agar bottle, was far too long for a remaining third of a batch... It was thick as my gloved and scrubbed hands swirled it around in the SAB. And then, worse. My dumbass decided to pour
Two plates went fairly well but had a little unevenness, nbd, but i would soon find out all the liquid around a core of cooled agar had been poured out and now a large clump from the core came and clogged up the bottle, I guess my subconscious said watch this shit, because then without hesitating or thinking I started thrusting the Snapple bottle at the petri like you'd shake a glass ketchup bottle and little drops would come out.
It all happened so fast...
Two seconds into the motion I froze, realizing I'm throwing in any contaminates left over on outside of the bottle.
So, poured new plates today. Cooling in SAB as we speak. With a full 250mL batch at my usual timeframe.
I also did a test and 25min is perfect pour time in my Snapple bottle with a half batch (125mL hot agar) so next time Ill have a number to shoot for when reheating agar.
Edit : was too long

Yea, best go see a doctor. Remember: you if you're stuck in a hospital the only fungus you're gonna grow is between your toes.

P.S YAY! Post # 11,000!
I confess I just spotted a contaminated agar on my way to the bathroom. On my way back I grabbed it, emptied it out and went to check on the others. Only to realize I threw out a healthy agar...
