What % of things are under your control...?

I would say about 58% of the things in my life are under my control..
Stuff like physical movement,
The appearance and feeling of free will and choice..
The stuff thats not in control are the following..
Have to eat and sleep.. use the washroom.. need money to purchase or aquire anything in a capitalist system..
Need to be entertained, within reason, have to move or do somethimg..
Habits in general.. I need to wear clothes based on climate..
Have to breath fresh and filtered air..
Have to see the same freinds and family each year on and off..
Have to look at the same things everyday..
What do you guys think?

Depends on what you mean by "control." Things like physical movement, will, choice we can affect at times, but I don't think we really control them. It seems to me that control is mainly an illusion. Even if you're good at basketball, you're not really "controlling" your shot. Your subconscious is solving billions of calculus equations that you have no knowledge about. I would say that the whole thing could not come off without "you" as a conscious entity participating in it, but I think we really control a lot less than we think we do -- the vast majority of the time.

There are many paths to choose from and every response I have is in my control, I can choose the path I take.
If control is the power to influence behaviour or the course of events then I have 100%.

I found another one where you cant control..though you may influence:
Other people doing things..
Also getting stuck in a combo in a competitive game..

You are choosing to do everything in deed..
But there are things you cant escape.. like washroom, food sex, sleeping etc.. those are basic need to dos for every person..

I control 0 of the world outside of me.
I control 0 of the world inside of me.
All I have is my interface between the two - my actions.
That is all.

Again, if control is influence I still have it. I can hold in a shit, not eat, be celebate and stay up late.

Those are just degrees of influence.. not perfect control.. you can only delay sonething for a certain amount of time.. which reminds me..
Time is not under your control..

I don't know, I just know I have a daily routine that is based on years of finding out what I like and don't like. I control my environment well. In my room I have a negative ion generator, humidifier and heater. I keep the environment 75 Degrees F., 60 RH, air filtered and ionized. For my body I do self massage, tai chi, breathing meditation, eat at subway every day and take supplements. My finances are good too. I have more than I need in life. I don't masturbate or have sex. I work out every day, take cold showers and get the proper amount of sleep. As for control it's hard to say because it's not hard to lose control. Anyone could die any second from the most minor things within and without. Control seems to be an illusion, kinda like job security.

I think a lot of what we percieve as "not being in control of" is the societal "consequences" we OURSELVES lay down on each other.
Act in way X, receive treatment 1.
Act in way Y, receive treatment 2, etc.
When, in my "reality", it's act in any way along X/Y/Z - Receive no implied treatment, as long as it doesn't negatively influence my X/Y/Z.
So, cultural "pressure" influences our ideas/expressions of "control".
In my opinion, freedom exists ONLY in mutual not-controlling.

I don't control other people, influence can be picked up on but I don't own anyone.
It's just me, my car and these blue hands.

My hands, were, full of super-glue.
That looks fun man. Good for you.

A house by a lake actually!
Lots of pine trees and green forest. Steel, brick and timber construction, suspended above the ground.
My boss designed it...
But it looks pretty cool.

I saw a lot of ducks and purple swamp hens today too, and had a water dragon climb over my foot. Lots of sesbania trees by the pond.
Sounds like you have handy finesse work, mines giving a bit more tug and pull and poison to our carbon breathing friends. Keeping the natives on fleek.

You control how you respond to emotional stimuli and what you think about. Many religious archetypes hint at perfect mastery of this, but it takes a very long time.
You cannot control others, you cannot control how you feel (only how you respond to what you feel), and you cannot control what others feel.

what is the reason that drugs are negative for me?
I read about people doing drugs here and it seems to make their time cooler or something like that maybe
