I'm just teasing you. I thought it was funny too. I'm just a little pressed for time. And can't I do it the creative thinkers way and just pick which jar looks less soggy. How much weight of grain per quart jar would be recommended to fill it up 2/3 of the way?

Nice. I haven't had pans, only cubes and stones. I'm sure every species has it's own qualities to a trip, I know there's a difference between a cube and stone trip.

I have an idea for an experiment but I need you guys to chime in with tips.
I was thinking about making different sorts of anti-green agar to see if I can stifle the boogie man somehow or slow it down. I will place some green on agar next time I encounter it so I have it readily available. Preferably just the white stuff before it sporulates.
What would you suggest to add to the agar? I´m gonna run a cube culture as well on the same plates to see how it reacts. I´m aware of that this is a shot in the dark and perhaps even biologically impossible (that myc runs but green stops) lets call it a novelty experiment.
What are your suggestions, Ferather you have any suggestions?

OK grain should be ready in 90 minutes then I'll turn on the flow hood so I can get it to cool before I go to bed.
Anyways I finally get what you guys are saying about hating the way shrooms smell when you dehydrate them. Usually I can tolerate it but these KSSS are funky bitches and they were picked fresh too. I better stop complaining before the shroom gods take back my bounty and start giving me shit shrooms again. These guys are the meatiest shrooms I've ever grown and turn instantly ink blue throughout.

some media don't germinate bacteria well, but That's not a good thing IMO. I want to know if my technique is on point. I wouldn't be able to tell if only cubes grew on my agar

I am so fucking pissed off about not getting my cultures. I still have not received a tracking number and this douche nozzle has the audacity to make a post saying hey who wants to hang out since I just moved to MD. Also he posted a video of him playing around with his magnetic stirrer on Tuesday and in that time he could have had my order ready if he was doing everything in the time frame he said he was doing it in. I want my fucking money back. Clearly if he had used all his precious resources like he said he had to put my shit together than it would have been ready by now. What a fucking asshole. I'm going to report him to etsy if he doesn't stop holding my money hostage.

Did you pay via paypal or credit card? Just do a chargeback, you've given him multiple opportunities.

Paypal. Ok I'm going to see if I can figure out how to get my money back from Paypal. I told him on Friday you ship out tonight or I want my money back. Plus I don't want any extract from someone being that sketchy. He probably spit in it or something by now.

Ugggh. I used my credit card through Etsy. From now on I'm making sure all my transactions go through paypal and I'm only ordering one small item off all new vendors. I have a few vendors of LC's I trust now so I don't need this person anymore. Also I'm either making my own or getting my extracts from Host Defense. I can't wait to get this cordyceps into jars and make my own.
What a fucking asshole. Judging by his behavior he either turned my money into glass or shot it into his arm already and can't pay it back even if he wanted to.

Oh shit this isn't OTD oops. Sorry about that guys. See I can't read when I'm seeing red. Bitch better give me my money or he's going to lose some fingers or at least a bit of his fame.
Thanks for the help with the grain jars Ferather! I'm glad I tried this. I had my doubts. It definitely came with some hiccups on my first try. I have to tighten the lids much better on the jars that lay sideways. First thing I didn't do that I should have done was shake the jars sooner so they didn't stick and get as glutinous. A few more grains burst than I would have liked but now I know I need slightly less water. I'm thinking 7oz of rye to 10 oz of water instead of 11. That should be perfect. Also I will rinse the grain off next time to get out the DE I use to keep the bugs out of my rye. I was pressed for time and got a bit lazy but this is really clean rye. Maybe I'll even try adding a little bit of gypsum and vermiculite. I'll have to tweak it. I don't think this batch of grain is cube worthy though but I'd be ok with growing oysters on it. Those things can deal with anything.
And you're still a dick Bod. Numbers and letters do not mix well in my brain.
