Those super thick ropey rhizomorphs are meant for taking a beating and is facilitated as a means to escape contams, at least that's what I've read.

I wouldn't spawn the middle one.

Where are you all seeing this bacterial contamination? Can someone point it out?

I have never had a problem with grain smashed up against the side and not colonizing and then it end up being bacteria
IME I just spawned and had zero problems or I gave them a shake, or just let em sit a few more days.

Any bacterial just I've ever had looked like the middle picture where the grains aren't colonizing towards the bottom that look really wet. I've spawned jars like that before, but they were defiantly bacterial.

If the uncolonized grain are slimey then there´s a reason to worry.
But simply grain pressed up against the glass don´t worry me so much.

Yeah.. I think it just may be more wet at the bottom of the jar which isn't encouraging for mycelium growth. To me all three jars look ok. You should spawn them all to separate trays lol

Shoeboxes are perfect for any questionable jar. Keep an eye on them, and if anything goes wrong you only gotta toss the bad ones. Popcorn does suck, but kettle corn is fucking delicious
