NC, I dunno what you're up to, but shit sounds like we won't be seeing you for a while or something..?
I really hope you're allright. I think I speak for a whole lot of members here when I say I like having you around here a whole lot, and my views of you are filled with respect, love, and compassion. Whatever the predicament you're in, remember that even though NothingsChanged, there can always be better things right around the corner. Much love, and hope you're alright.

Confession: it's been months since my last mushroom harvest. I'm still busy with other stuff and my myco space is not in proper order at all, and it's starting to feel like not being able to smoke pot. Like every damn time I pass the hood I'm like "grmbl" cause I just want to get shit in order n try out all the new myco equipment I have bought (and been gifted, thanks NC ) but there's just no real option for that yet. It's like having weed but having no way at all of consuming it... In a few weeks it'll be alright but for the time being, I'm in myco-agony.

Starting over from spores?
Cakewalks. I used to feel the same but just can't see why it's that big of an issue anymore. A few transfers /months from now you can have 5 strong looking new cultures if you want, easily. I'm not trying to minimize your issue, I'm just trying to point out things take on a different perspective when you do them a few times...

It's the "months from now" I am talking about
The upfront time sucks balls. I've started over a few times now. Just saying life would be easier if I had my old cultures. It's getting a little more exciting since I have plates going...but I have zero jars ready to spawn.

I know, I know. Gotta be more patient. First round of WBS jars stalled, so I am getting antsy. It will happen.

I confess that I just found a jar full of dried woodlovers under the passenger seat when I was cleaning out my car today. No idea how long theyβve been there but I know they arenβt from this last season so??? Probably gonna do that again...

Yeah it could have, you gotta really fuck up around here to get your car searched though. Got pulled over doing 10 over the limit stinking like a squad of skunks without a physical copy of my driving license and after answering all the copβs questions truthfully, (my favorite was βsir, exactly how much marijuana do you have in the carβ,not much, just what I smoked before hitting the road, no Iβm not on perscription pills, yes sir no sir Iβm sorry sir that was stupid wasnβt it sir.)
But as soon as I passed the feild sobriety test and he confirmed that I actually so have a license, he sent me on my way lol. Feels fucked up to say but I was just lucky Iβm not from out of state or a minority or shit probably woulda went down a little different.

Finally almost a month later I got my two flowhood panels set up. I can finally start work. Only issues is one looks like it got beat to hell and is making a noise I don't like. I am requesting for either a new one or a partial refund. At least I got one good working panel out of the deal and a partial refund so all and all a good day. And my bedrooms doesn't look like a hoarder lives in it anymore. All the jars and other mycology odds and ends have their places now.I have like almost no stuff anymore since I got rid of most of it. It's great! Just the essentials mostly. No more dust collectors either. I figured I also might as well pack up anything I'm not using at the moment since I'm leaving at the end of the summer so it's even more empty. I actually really like it. SO MUCH SPACE TO DO SO MUCH WORK! My cat loves it too. She's going nuts with all the empty space.

Last confession for a while:
I'm taking a break from cultivating for a couple months. My gf was in the ER not to long ago for a bad seizure. I feel I've been on Shroomery a lot and not paying as much attention to her. We also have a move coming in February and a trip in March. I'll make sure to get some projects going before we leave to Germany, until then ill be off the cultivation forums unless I'm collecting data. Was going to delete my account but I found out Shroomery is like a gang, once you're in you're in for life, lol.
Just want to thank everyone who's helped me in my practices whether directly or not. Even though I've only done PF tek I feel privileged to have worked along side the great mycologists here. Good luck to everyone on all your endeavors
