Nice one!
Here's to getting some PE on BRF!

Hey guys what are your thoughts on spawning something like this? This was a late bloomer and sort of looks like this all the way around and there's at least an incentive of dry vermiculite. I had my brf cakes sit around a little before I got to inoculate and this jar doesn't seem to be progressing any further. Should I spawn it or will it cause some contamination if it isn't fully colonized. Am thinking on making a small tray
I'd spawn it.

It's just only colonized on the bottom and bottom half. Looks like it's not going up at all haha so just made me think about the dry vermiculite barrier is to thick than what it's supposed to be.

Yeah. Both tubs look that way. Theyre thriving.
@jim Its not colonizing the upper brf?

Harvested the stragglers from this tub.
First harvest:
2nd harvest:(24hr later)
About 435g total wet weight for this flush. Turned out alright after all.I thought it might not do so well in the beginning.Had a slow and weak pinset, but finally filled in. 4/12 (10 days ago):

This is what it looks like like a couple days already so I'm just wondering if the dry vermiculite mixed with the wet shit on the side. Hard to tell now with it. Wish there was a way to check it out haha but I don't want to set up my sab and shit lol maybe I will just spawn it. I have two other jars like this too but they finally got to 100% yesterday so I'm just waiting a few days to spawn those. these two are KSSS I can't wait for these haha Whoops this is the other one

Looks like the cakes shrunk up from consolidating and the dry verm fell down the side. They should be fine to birth just rinse them off and you'll be good to go

Oh yeah I see that I went and checked it out. Looks like dry vermiculite is falling on the sides and sticking on the condensation the cake created

Hey man super cool post...
I have a question and I apologize because I bet it's on one of these pages, but I'm curious if you use MS and what the results have been for MS users making brf cakes and spawning to bulk ? Are most of these posts MS ? Do Ms perform well as opposed to clones? I'm trying to help a friend and wondering if this is a better option for them as opposed to teaching them how I do it which would require much more supplies.
They would be working with Ms and I was going to send them down the agar to grain route. Wondering if this could perform well in comparison and save some money and what not.
I'll noe go and read the pages in search of an answer.
My apologies,thanks

I think it’s a good in between from PF Tek to bulk grows. It’s one of those things that will help teach you bulk before going to grains so you have a better understanding and don’t waste your grains on trying to get everything right. I did cakes to bulk to give me some better understanding on what I’ll be doing when spawning grains to bulk.

Hell yea, I'm doin the exact same thing. Phased out the SGFC, workin on bulk conditions and agar, PC is here and grains are gonna be phased in now. Just been a smooth transition from one bit to the next.
BRF is supposed to be a little more forgiving on contams as well. So I imagine we probably lose a little less from mistakes while getting sterile tek down. You can still use agar to innoc your brf jars if you want.

This cased shoebox blew up today while I was at work.
Not bad other than the spores on everything. I'll just wash 'em off.

Nice mushroomnate!
Got some pins coming in on my two cased Pink Buffalo boxes. Added the dub tub for more airflow and am keeping up on misting.

Awesome! That box blew up in growth after I dubbed it. This was the same box 2 days ago when I first dubbed.
