If im planning on spawning my cakes to bulk should i still let them consolidate? and if so, how long would you guys recommend?
Ive seen a bunch of mixed answers so im not too sure what to do.

Read trough this thread all the info is there. You wonΒ΄t hurt anything by spawning cakes that are consolidated, but itΒ΄s not necessary at all.

I always let them consolidate but its really best to do what works for you. Run a test spawn one now and wait for the other to consolidate then spawn it so you can see the difference and find out what works for you.

Somewhere along the way I missed how much water im supposed to use for the C/V mix to minitub.
Finally found some coir. Jars will be fully colonized in a week or two. Trying to get all my duckies in a row before their birthday.

The recipe I use is for an entire 650gm brick of coir.I just scale down the ingredients to get what I need at the moment.
650g brick coir
2qt vemiculite
4.5qt boiling water.
There's plenty of teks for this out there.

Guess I'll be mathing it out then. Wasnt sure if you had a specific amount of water per minitub.

The 1 gallon ice cream tub is what I use when doing smaller amounts.The coir recipe makes roughly 9-10qts sub per 650g brick.So,say when I need about 2qts sub,I will 1/4 the recipe.

I just reread eats slurry thread. He slurries 1 pf cake in a full mono, 1 brick of coir and pulled 4 ounces over 3 flushes. Yall might wanna check slurry in a hurry out if you want a bit higher yields!

I seem to be having better luck with the second flush on my BRF>CVG box than the ones I made with grain. The next couple of days will tell, but there is a massive amount of pins compared to the others. Seems to be easier to maintain surface conditions with that box.

Dude no one was lying about Puerto Ricans being very strong cubes!! Me and a couple buddies took just 2.5 dried grams each last night with the lemon tek method and we all swore we were on more like 5-6 grams of my other grows.
Shit made one of my buddies experience ego death durring the peak after smoking a blunt he had to go lay down and sweat his balls off for 20 mins lol. You guys should def give these cubes a go! Ime lots of smaller potent fruits.

I'll be sure to add those to my list!I've found that IME many smaller fruits are more potent than the same weight in bigger fruits.(as for MS grows)

Found a sterile 27qt tub with the blue lock handles. Couldn't find Coir locally so being shipped and will be here in two days. I'm doing what you suggested. My 8 cakes to 5qt cv. Do you suggest using wax paper or foil over substrate while recovering? I've seen this in other mono tub teks but don't know if it's outdated.
Update* 3 days after spawn all looking well. One question. The condensation is running down and pooling a little bit on the Mycelium. Is this ok or should I try to soak it up with paper towel or q tip?

That tub looks good!I would just let it do its thing til it's time to fruit.The water will soak back in or evaporate.
