Winter makes me crave drugs

It took a while to realize. But it's always during the colder months I crave drugs. Not psychedelics. I just want to eat benzos or stimulants all day. During the spring and summer I'm happy and would want shrooms. Last year I made the mistake of ordering metizolam and isopropylphedinadate. Well my wife found out I was taking them and freaked out. I miss when we both used to take drugs together. I miss it. Her fear is that her family would find out. So she stopped taking anything. But when we first got together we partied together. At some point she decided she wasn't going to. And somehow that means I can't either. But I don't remember saying I was never going to use drugs.

Yes, expectations suck. Your expectations, your wife's expectations, and my expectations.

There has been a series of super moons. One in November, december and here a coming one jan 31st.
I think this january had 2 since the december moon rolled over. Whether you believe in what peopke knew a long time ago or not. Moons do affect people.
So this winter is a bit more active. It's a season of death. It's a chance to be aware. Awareness is not always easy or painless.
Drugs don't hide awareness forever. I'm only interested in drugs for medicine and awarness. Always have been since young adulthood.
It's never easy to break habits. And the winter is a very hard time to do that. I prefer to change habits and my perception of them and other things.

Part of the reason that you crave them could be isolation from other people more in winter months. At least in my experience, I'm way more social in the spring and summer. Lots more events are hosted, lots more vitamin D from being out in the sun, etc.

Shes your wife. It'd be sad to loose that over drugs. Try be honest with her, even if it will hurt her. Can you compromise? Maybe no hard drugs, just shrooms once a season or something? Ultimately I think family should come first over drugs.

Wow I posted this in the middle of winter. Right now it's so sunny and bright outside and I feel great. Yea I told her about how the winter makes me want to impulsively take drugs. I think she'd be fine with marijuana. But we are currently saving for a house so we have no money to waste. I've gotten better since I've been able to indentify that it's always during the winter months I get into trouble. it's a little easy when you can step back and see what's going on. Stupid winter depression.

Hey man, I'm so happy to hear you are doing better. It sucks to get situational depression. Its good you've told her about it, and are doing better.

I find it's quite helpful to get outdoors. I like to take walks, make snowmen, etc
