SO i have 5 cakes now that i dunked for 24hr after there first flush and now they look like smurfs! They feel quite mushy and gross so i think they are water logged. How can i help them recover?

All cakes look at least as bruised as this one or worse. should i just toss these ones? Maybe put them on a fan to dry them out some? I have never had bruising like this so im pretty lost.

Before you start...Do you have a Pressure Cooker and a Dehydrator? I highly recommend getting both!

Roll them in verm and place them in your hopefully made to specks SGFC. They will gradually dry out on their own as is what's desired. Cakes will sometimes become bruised from being too wet, as well as, too dry, also form being handled too much.

I have already gotten a flush out of them and done the initial roll. Should I re-roll them in verm or just put them back in the box? Also Should I stop misting them for a couple days to let them dry? Im quite sure they are too wet

You can re-roll them if you want. Just be careful with handling...the more you handle them the more fugly blue they'll become

Correct, let them dry/evaporate moisture for a day or two.

Pics below are of 20ml spore syringes next to BRF cakes to help put into perspective how much water the four 1/2 pint BRF cakes absorbed each within the first 6 hours of dunk:
Cake 1 Cake2 Cake3 Cake4
(The one and the same cake was used as a model in these 4 photos, but main point is the syringes)
This is how much water cake 2 absorbed in 24 hours
During the first 12h over 75 percent of the capacity is reached in terms of absorption, so the following 12h don´t really do all that much. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/24739690
