Pinning, fruiting, and pretty much everything has been excrutiatingly slow. Theyve been in there a month and they arent fruiting together or much at all.
Regular FC, perlite bottom, 8 holes, 4 1/2inch 4 1/4 inch. Rh between 95-100% All have been dunked and after 2 weeks of barely anything, dunked again. What could be goin on here?

Spawning cakes to coir is no big project. When the bulk substrate is cool enough to use, pull out the cheese grater and go to work. Mix everything together, that´s all. Info is in the thread I posted, read trough the thread and post there if you have more BRF to bulk questions. GL

This hobby will lead you to believe that you need a agar, PC and a SAB to have consistent results with bulk grows.
BRF jars that are steam sterilized for 90 min are inoculated in open air with lots of spore solution. Then they are spawned to bulk substrate and they go flush after flush after flush and don´t even contaminate before they are spent. This is a way to do bulk grows with consistent results and with minimal equipment and tools if you are brand new to this hobby
Of course, if you have grain jars sterilized and you have a bunch of clean live culture then there is really no point in spawning BRF cakes to bulk I guess

This is my first go around. I inoculated my jars while drunk in my glove box. 0 contams. Miracle I didnt blow myself up with all that lysol and isopropyl in the "inert" environment.
Im moving on to WBS for bulk projects and ill still do cakes for fun. I did GT for my first grow. Im cloning my mycelial culture of Dancing tiger into an agar plate because the grain bag got hit with penicilium or some mold. Ive got a burma clone in agar as well from my friends unfortunate yield.
Ill be inoculating an agar plate with PE sometime in the coming week.
Im new, but im putting in work.

When I got into cultivating about 15 years ago I started with BRF cakes and used a old fish tank as a FC I quickly went to spawning the cakes to subs in tinfoil turkey pans...ah the memories

I’ve been a lurker for awhile. Got into cultivation around 2002 and had fun for about 2-3 years then had kids, fam life, and got away from it for awhile But now I’ve been getting my rebirth into the hobby and the rest is history
OP Sorry for the brief hijack
