Feedback always appreciated. Gf misted heavily while I worked. Think thats the culprit as to the sudden development. Was going to add more FAE tonight but this made it urgent

You should turn it into a shotgun fruiting chamber and elevate it to allow airflow underneath

Temp control in my house is a total bitch. I use a water heating system or I would.

Have heard some people say that the fuzz on the base of the stem is from too much moisture. Makes sense. I have mycelium colonizing in a 99% humidity box. My fruiting chamber likes to be around 85-90% rh. Higher and I get white fuzz also.

Im about 99% certain its cuz my gf over-misted earlier and I recently added moisture to the perlite so the RH just oversaturated the entire tub.
FAE added. Keeping an eye on it while I can. Oddly this is the first sign of it in 24ish days

idk what a water heating system has to do with not having a properly built chamber.

Water heating occurs from the bottom. Temperature sits at about 73. Cant put holes in the bottom or itd drown the whole tub.

I'd bet that a sgfc at 65f/18c would be more likely to be more successful than your setup

Minimal temperature control in this environment and not a lot of places I can put the set up.
Space heater overheats it and pushes it above 80. Heating pad turns off every 2hrs from a safety feature. Its environment isnt exactly warm. If you have a better idea for temperature control im all ears

I wouldn't worry about temperature control so much as I would worry about breeding contamination in the condensation caused by the temperature differential between the box and the room.
Remember, condensation does not indicate humidity. Condensation indicates a temperature difference between the inside and the outside of the container. this is likely caused by insufficient air exchange, which would also explain the fuzzy feet.

Well for future endeavors the Tek will be modified. When I prepped this a monthish ago I was much less informed and really kind of winging it. Hell the pdf that came with the kit didnt even say to add holes.
Not gonna go about disrupting the whole kit on a 3rd flush though. Modifications will be performed for future projects.

if the area is 65 to 76 degrees you dont need a heat pad or space heater at all

I was under the impression 70-75 was optimal fruiting temp

Optimal =/= only.
Mushrooms will grow from ~55F to Maybe about 100-105F, but the lower you go, the slower they grow, and the higher you go, the faster bacteria grow.
They also withstand temperature swings surprisingly well, I once had a shittily insulated house where I'd cut heat when I went to work to avoid paying for the juice, house would drop to 50 while I was gone in the winter.

Friend of mine has had a bitch of a time getting his burmas to fruit. We had concluded it was due to his cold temperatures or from his colonizing being about 90dg most the time (direct heating pad) His usually sat in the 55-65 range for fruiting Mightve dropped to 50 one time.
My point being that this mightve had a hand in me trying to ensure a stable temp.

I was fairly confident to begin. My first fruit was
Figured everything was going just fine and dandy. The fuzzy feet are the first real hiccup in the entire 3 weeks of fruiting. While my friends were barely pinning/fruiting despite his effort.

Optimal fruiting temperature range for Psilocybe Cubensis are 68-72F (room temperature). Fuzzy feet are the symptom of a lack of fresh air exchange. Increase fresh air. Decrease misting.
